Dreadful fitting top.I totally agree with the other comments about the poor fit that gives a very strange droopy,squashed shape.I should have believed them and saved the effort of sending back the 3 bikinis I have bought in the clearance sale.

I must be a very odd shape because I find this bikini fits perfectly and is very flattering! I wore it in the sea several times a day in the summer and it kept its shape and colour perfectly

Firstly, I cannot understand the negative reviews. I wear a great deal of beachwear and this bikini is hard to beat.
I bought two of these (with the bottoms!) a few months back and think that they are wonderful. I swim in the sea every day and need something 'robust', yet flattering to retain my dignity. As an average looking soul I am delighted by the way this bikini makes me look (and feel). The positive comments are great, and it feels good too. They are also well made and certainly up to the rigours of frequent sea water dunkings. I shall look no further than Boden for my sea gear in future.

A real disappointment. The pattern and colours are lovely, and I like the material. But the shape of the top is just weird. Like others have found, it flattens your bust, pushing it down and to the sides. This would be great if it was made in the hotchpotch style - hopefully next season, Boden?

I loved the look of this bikini and as the previous reviewer said, the bottoms that go with it are absolutely fine. However, I have never had such a terrible fitting bikini top! I am a size 8, 34B but the top just squashed my chest and made me look completely droopy!

I have the Chic bikini which is fab and I bought a lovely Boden bikini last year (the hotchpotch I think) which I'm taking away again this year so I would generally describe myself as a Boden bikini lover.

Such a disappointment!

This bikini had promise - loved the green print, bottoms good shape and not too skimpy but not too frumpy. BUT the bikini top is the WORST FIT EVER. I am surprised it passed your fit trials, the cup shape gives a droopy effect which is unwearable. It is totally the wrong shape, unflattering and a terrible design and cut. Do you size and fit ALL sizes on real models to make sure that the patterns transfer on real shaped women? I think if you had done you would immediately scrap this bikini top. Boden - please consider real womens shapes when designing your clothes. It is more challenging and requires more skill to design clothes that flatter larger figures - and by this I mean from 14 upwards. This year I have returned more items than ever and resent the time and money spent. Your quality and fit is going down hill - please address this unless you are aiming for a more down market apeal. Very disappointing.

This top just did not fit although I'd bought the largest size-just in case!
Such a shame as the shorts are brilliant so I'm keepng them and matching them with bikini tops in plain colours I already have!!

I wish I had believed the other reviews before buying this bikini- [...] The bra top is shapeless and a wierd shape, it made me look fat and I am a 36a, very small bosoms indeed! The bottoms were good, flattering on my pear shape but pointless without a top to go with them.

Considering this bikini has had poor reviews, I was suprised by it's loveliness. I am a 36a bra size and found that size 12 top was too small around the back. I exchanged for a size 14 and it fits a treat...no odd shape or droopiness as others have found. I have searched the high street shops and it is genuinely the nicest by far that I have found. I chose the bright multi colour pattern which is fabulous and the bottoms are not too skimpy. Grab a bargain in the sale!

I should have listened to the reviews. The fit is so strange and makes me look distorted! Lovely pattern and good quality material - just not a good fit.
