I went for the longer length [...]when it arrived the fit was great although I am only 5'4... Looks great with a chunky polo neck ,thick tights,boots and a denim jacket....again another fab skirt from boden although I am glad I got it at sale price.nicely lined and sits well.

I would only recommend this to a friend who looks good in A line skirts. I really, really want to look good in your 'fun skirts' - about once a year I try ordering one, but no success so far! I ordered the black in 10L. I am 5ft7ins but it looked kinda long and frumpy on me. The 10R would probably look better; the skirt did seem well made and comfy; and I liked the colour/design. If it had been less expensive I might have tried the 10R but it was just a bit 'bleh' on me to part with so much money. Maybe it looks more funky on someone younger..but as I AM a middle aged primary school teacher already, a knee length patterned A-line just seems to be crying out for a twinset and some more pet cats!

Good fit - I am still congratulating Boden on getting size 6 right at last! The colours are great (I got the raisin) and the material a little lighter in weight than expected. I've yet to make up my mind about the 'restrained A-line' shape. I would have preferred a more definite A-line or straight, but am willing to give this a chance. Only real quibble is the length - mid-knee for me, and I'm 5'2". I know some women like it shorter but I would prefer an inch or 2 longer. The other sizes have regular and long options - why not for us size 6s as well?

Ordered it in black. The petite size is mid-knee. I am 150cm. Right for my age without looking ridiculous if shorter and is flattering to my shape. More petite please. Regular length is just right for high boots, maybe order one in a different colour.

i ordered this this in black size 8P but was slightly too small around the waist, so tried the 10P in tan colourway but sadly this was too big around the hemline, as it is quite stiff fabric and did not fall softly. Dissapointing as beautifully made, and smashing colourways, but had too send both back.
Would still try again, if in another softer fabric.

It's great that Boden are now including us petites in their range! I ordered this skirt in the raisin, size 6 and it's such a lovely fit. I was actually surprised as I've ordered before from Boden and sent everything back. Great for dressing up or for everyday, very versatile. Lovely.

Liked the fabric and embroidery of the black skirt. Not "A" line enough, looked like a straight skirt from the front and stuck out at a right angle from behind. Shame but had to send it back.

Lovely skirt (raisin). Quite snug; excellent fit for me (16R) but too tight for my friend who usually buys a 14 or 16 from Boden but is a different body shape.
