I was very keen to purchase this skirt during the sale and closely read the latest reviews. I am always a 10 in Boden which is a perfect size for me. This time I bought the 8 because the reviews were saying that the skirt was large. Alas it was true to size and I should have bought the 10 but now that I have received the skirt there are no 10's left. I am quite disappointed - I have just looked at the oldest reviews and they indicate that the skirt is true to size ... next time I will go straight to the oldest reviews to get the true story on garments.

Great for smart occasions and very flattering. The material is a lovely weave which makes it stand out from the crowd and the colours are so useful. I have antique gold and Navy, worn with a "must have jumper" they are just right for making a good impression and stylish too but also comfortable and warm. They are fully lined so danger of "seating".

I tried both the 12R and 12L skirts in the sale and have kept the 12R despite being 5ft 8in. This fits well, and falls just above the knee - so not where the pencil skirt is intended to fall but it looks fine. Unfortunately the 12L was cut more generously and warranted a JLo derriere, which sadly I do not have, so it has gone back. As other reviews have said, the skirt is very classy, the material lovely, and I shall enjoy wearing it. Just a shame that the sizing can't be more consistent.
