I'm loving this skirt! I bought it in the clearance sale in the blue/red, and wish I'd got in earlier now as I would also have loved the grey. The regular length is perfect for me (I'm 5'5" and it sits just on the ankle). The bias cut and slight flare are very flattering. I usually hover between a size 10 and 12 - the 10 fits beautifully. I also haven't found any problem with the lining as other reviewers have mentioned. Can't wait for an Aussie winter to set in so I can team it with my favourite boots and wear it more often! A great design that will hopefully become one of Boden's classics!

Stunningly beautiful skirt. I've bought 2!! the red and blue check; and the grey check. Love them so much, am keeping both.

The tweed patterns are classic and the colours are gorgeous. The red and blue are not as bright as in the pictures. The quality of the tweed is good though it is not as thick or heavy as I expected.

The bias cut makes it very flattering. The previous reviews are right, this is a proper maxi skirt and feels longer than the other maxi skirts that Boden has produced previously. I'm 5'6" and the regular length comes to below my ankles about an inch above the ground. The lining pretty much extends to the same length.

This is such a classically beautiful skirt that will always be an 'on trend' item season after season.

This is a fabulous skirt that is practical, slimming and elegant and will easily see you through winter into spring. The bias cut and slight flare are wonderful. I wear it with boots and thermals and have been warm on the coldest days this winter. I tried 2 sizes and found the larger one suited me better as a pear shape. I bought the grey melange and was so pleased with it I decided to try the navy check and like that even more - it really adds cheer to cold winter days. It could be improved by having a slightly shorter lining (by 2-3cm) and a more substantial hook fastener at the top of the zip. I was surprised to see that after using Yorkshire tweed the skirt has been manufactured in Romania, a pity it wasn't possible to make it all in the UK. But a great style overall - thanks Boden!

I hesitated before buying the first skirt (in red) because of the price, but I was absolutely delighted with it when it arrived. I am a pear-shaped size 12 to 14 and the size 12 fits perfectly and is very flattering. So much so that when I saw they were in the sale I didn't hesitate and ordered a second skirt (in grey). They're both really lovely and I am thrilled with them, it's not often you come across such a fantastic piece in terms of style, cut, fit, colour...

This skirt makes me smile every time I wear it...in fact I loved it so much I ordered both the navy and green versions (well, it was in the sale!). It feels extremely well-made and it does wonders for my figure. I was grateful for the other reviewers explaining that it was best to down size - I am a 10/12 and the 10R fitted perfectly. In contrast to some of the other reviews, the length was also perfect for me as well (I'm 5"6). Thank you Boden!

I love the look of this skirt, the colours are gorgeous and it felt comfortable. However, when I sat down several cm of the lining showed For the price of the skirt this was very disappointing and I can't justify paying that much and then having to faff around making alterations.

'Tis the season to be jolly...and put away all my Autumn tan/brown/plum coloured clothes. This beautiful skirt is great for Winter. Thank you Boden for the classic navy and red combination 'tho the red is more raspberry than bright pillar box red. Still, I love this skirt. The only reason I can see for it still being available is that it is soooo long. I am 5'8" and bought a 10R; it skims my ankle bones so keeps out the draughts but for many women of average height even the R would be too long. Lucky me though. Waist wise, I dared myself to buy a 10. I have Boden 10R tweed skirts from 12 years ago which now, after 3 children, are 'snug' but they're only knee length. I hoped that this bias cut, full length style would have enough weight to pull the skirt down and sure enough, it feels good on the waist. Really nice to see the British tweed 'Moon' label but was shocked to read 'Made in Romania' below that. Still, at least I could just about afford it; if UK made it would have doubtlessly been prohibitively expensive. Can't comment on its longevity/long term quality but I hope still to be wearing this in another 12 years' time. Thank you! Now I need some new boots....

I was a little concerned about the cut being bias, having read other reviews, but the fit is very good and flattering, length is perfect (R) and the skirt swishes beautifully as I walk. Hefty price tag even though on a special offer. This will get lots of wear. More long skirts, please.
