Great colour - I got this in the red, which is a very rich pinky red. Perfect length and waist not too tight. Fabric feels decent quality although I might have to be careful not to snag jewellery.

Lovely work skirt, especially since I got it at a reduced rate. Had nice comments about it the first day I wore it. Love the colour, which was described as ruby, but is pinker than that. One thing I'm not so keen on is the lack of a waist band; instead there is a kind of 'ribbon', which has already started to crease. Not too much of a problem, as I shall wear tops outside it, rather than tucked in.

I'm 5'10", slim but slightly wider round the middle than I'd like and this is perfect length and fit, looks very elegant and understated. Beautifully made, lovely material. Only thing is: no skirt loops! Am tolerating that because I paid the sale price; wouldn't had I paid full whack.

I bought the skirt and jacket in black and was initially pleased but now that I have worn it a few times, the lining has turned out to be very clingy which affects the shape and feel of the skirt, particularly when I am walking around.

This is a very versatile skirt and can be worn with a jumper or dressed up with a jacket for a more corporate look. It is very flattering and really quite slimming. So far the fabric is holding out and there is no sagging.
One problem I had with it was pulling it down, if I wanted to tuck a shirt in. I think because the lining is very fitted and the fabric quite thick. In fact each time I had to take the shirt off and step into it again. A little frustrating but not the end of the world.

I love this skirt. Fits well. Lovely fabric. Great colour (purple), but why doesn't Boden provide hooks in the skirts so that the skirst can be hung up on traditional hangers? You always used to, but the last two I bought from you don't have this handy facility. Are you cutting corners?

I loved the skirt so much, I bought it in black and went back for the ruby. They are great for work and evening events. The fabric feels lovely, is warm and maintains shape well. They are really flattering on the curves too! The detail inside with ribbon trimming in contrast colours is a gorgeous detail, adding a touch of luxury. Great length on me (regular), sitting below the knee.

I ordered this in black. It's gorgeous, very tactile, warm and smart and, is it just me, but on a dark day putting this on, the flash of yellow silk inside the waist band and purple tape along the hem, make me smile. It's a bit like wearing lovely underwear... you know you've got it on, even if no-one else does, and it invariably makes you feel better. That can't be bad!
