Hmm - not really sure about this. I bought the black leather but I think the problem is that leather should be sexy and this just, well, isn't. It is comfortable but a bit too A line and the leather is not as buttery soft as I would have expected for the price. I've returned it as overall it's too pricey to keep if not perfect.

I was really looking forward to receiving my leather skirt but was disappointed on receipt. I ordered the black, 14 L. The positives are that it fitted well on the waist and was a nice length for a mini skirt - just above the knee. The negatives are that the leather is tough and stiff and the cut from the waist is bulky and shapeless which might be exacerbated by the unyielding texture of the leather. i had been hoping for a slinky yet classic look but instead looked like a middle aged mum who decided to experiment with a leather skirt! At the price of this skirt it had to be perfect - it's not and it's a return.

I've been so happy with Boden skirts until this one--have never had a problem with fit before so was really looking forward to wearing this skirt. Lack of fit around the hips and a wide expanse at the hem made it feel dowdy (ironically for a leather skirt). Looks much more straight-cut on the model (all angles) than it is in real life.

I so wanted to love this skirt, brown suede 8RIt is far too big!!! I am a good size 8, was worried the skirt might be snug but there is far too much material on the hips. I have an old Boden suede skirt from years ago and the size is the same, but it fits much more neatly over the hip.[...]. I will try the black leather mini in the 6 and see what happens.All Boden sizes are coming up big.....
