The zip is rather short, so a bit of a struggle to get on, but once there it fits comfortably and looks good. I have found other front fastening Boden skirts have short zips.....takes longer to get into them!

What a great little skirt! Sits above the knee (8R and I'm 5ft 5") but not too much, nice amount of stretch means it fits but moves, essential with a 1yr old in tow, can be dressed up or down. Has been worn with chunky boots and pretty flats. Was lucky enough to grab it in the sale but would have happily spent the origianl price!

Love it!
I decided to go up a size following the reviews, and it was the right thing to do, and it fits perfectly
I also ordered the long length (I am 5ft5) as I wanted it to land on the knee, and the length is perfect.
Despite being a size up, it actually makes me look at least a size smaller due to the cut. It is so flattering! I can see me wearing it a lot!

I was worried about the fact some reviewers recommended to size up,but I checked the garment measurements grid,compared with my other Boden skirts and opted for my usual size.
It fits perfectly!
The Denim is soft but quite thick,

First order was for 10r after reading comments re 'size up', mine was still too tight to be comfortable. Second order was for 12L to avoid tightness and odd sensation I had mistakenly put on a child's skirt. Okay, but pockets were too low and length just not 'me'. Third order was for 12r - this one just fine! Sits on the knee and will look great with woolly tights, pockets where they should be, pleat and slight a-line style essentially a winner over any other denim skirt I have seen in shops, and believe me I have searched! I have to say that I like my skirts to sit on my hips rather on waistline - a personal preference after surgery. I knew 'Boden' would not let me down - it was just a matter of trying a few sizes and lengths to get what I wanted.
I have the vintage denim - initially unsure of faded sections but I've worn the skirt a few times now and like the overall look. I'm happy!

I've been looking for an A-line denim mini to replace my all-time Boden favourite Olive Denim Mini from a few years back (worn to death). I hoped this might be it (other recent denim minis have been pencil shape - not so good for the curvy); but sadly it feels too clingy with the stretch.
