I was entranced the moment I saw the fabric. It is so unusual and looks fantastic with an embellished cashmere sweater. I bought the black version.My French daughter-in-law said it was very stylish. In addition, you cannot go wrong at the amazing price.

This is a beautiful skirt, the material is unusual but eyecatching. The colours are great. However it did feel a bit like wearing a blanket! Its a heavy felt with a thick lining and when I sat down, the skirt practically stayed standing up. Its also quite big fitting, I could have done with a half size smaller. Also it is short but was a perfect length on me as I am petite. Sadly I am sending this back as it just didnt look right on me.

I bought the size 8 & it is true to size, sitting nicely just above my hips. It comes up a tad short- I thought it was going to be just below knee but is on the knee, & I'm 5'2"! Fabric is gorgeous- heavyweight & glam with the gold thread. Looks fab with the silk ruffled top in the photos- proper grown up clothes!!!

The picture for this is clearly wrong - this is a SHORT skirt and appears to have been redesigned after the photos were taken. The skirt about 6 inches shorter than the photo

This is such a shame as it's beautiful fabric and fits perfectly - except it shows far to much leg..

There must have been a design change between photography and production.
The skirt is a lovely design, but it is much shorter in reality.
I am of average height, and usually buy regular length skirts, which sit just on my knee. This skirt falls well above my knee. I need very opaque tights to wear this!
Very disappointed.

A really beautifully made skirt with lovely detailing on the zip and lining. I'm keeping the skirt [...], but it is much shorter than it looks.The one on the model shows more than 7 "flowers" depth between waistband and hem, this has only six so appears to be about 7cm shorter than the one in the pic. I'm a size 16 so there isn't a size reason why the 16 would be shorter than a slim model (mine sits on the hip below the natural waistline).I am very disappointed that it just doesnt look like the one in the pic - so I will undo the generously deep hem and let it down.

This is a gorgeous skirt and felt great putting it on and zipping it smoothly up but then dismay...not a lot of length and definitely too much thigh for my office. I'm 5ft8 and it was good couple of inches above my knees. Am currently investigating what I can do with the hem if not it is very sadly going back

Who would have thought that one would part with money for a holey skirt! Ordered both colours as I could nt see the Navy/Black very well on the web and wanted to see the real thing. The skirt is lovely,and I cant make up my mind which one to keep, the gold is more yellow, the embroidery more obvious. The Black/Navy has a different vibe,the embroidery is more subtle and it has a more sophistocated feel. It looks good with Navy tops and Denim....boots...
Yes as the earlier reviewer says it is shorter than on the model, a long or standard lenght option would have been good. My main concern is whether or not the fabric will 'seat' with wear? Have you tested it for wearability?
Its a lovely 'different' skirt that I'm sure will get lots of compliments but which one do I keep - its definately a keeper, but which one? Oh girls dilemmas are never ending! ;-)

This skirt is beautful and very flattering on. I ordered the size 8 and was concerned it may be too long as I am 5ft 2 but it is a perfect length and looks stunning, highly recommend it.
