I loved these shorts and took them on holiday last week. Really comfy and not too short but I only wore them about 4 times and the fabric faded and balled up between the legs. I was very disapointed because they looked great.

The previous reviews were really helpful in my decision making, especially about the sizing down - when the shorts arrived and fitted like a glove. I'm a bonnie 14-16 so I was not familar with the 14 L or R sizing so I took a punt and the 14R were perfect. Just looking forward to some good kiwi sunshine now so I can wear them.

I got it in plum and I absolutely adore it. It is not too short, and it fits beautifully, I believe the sizing is just right.

I ordered these in my usual 8R before reading the reviews - then immediately concluded they'd probably be too big and would have to be returned.
However, I was pleasantly surprised, if not a bit confused when they arrived and found they were great! I think they are true to size (I'm a standard size 8) and pretty much just as they appear in the photo! They're not tight, but don't have excess material either.
I love the spots and the delphinium colour and will definitely be keeping them!

I'm a 14-16 so ordered a 14 - which are enormous! They make me look huge and sit on my hips, not waist, and as a consequence are rather long.
The spots are a cream colour too rather than white.

These are truly lovely shorts; but one or two things are wrong with them. For one - you definitely need to size down. I'm currently wearing my size 8s and I think my usual size 10 would have been huge. The only other thing is that in the description they're described as 'our shortest shorts'. They're not that short! I have much shorter shorts and I'm hardly much of an exhibitionist. However, I am only 19 and I suspect a slightly older lady would prefer their shorts longer than I do. They are a nice length, by the way, just don't be misled.
