Totally agree with 'ZoFlo' not to size up. I went for the smaller of sizes I'm between and it's spot on. Bought a similar jumper from Boden last winter which has 'grown' each time I've washed it so this greatly influenced my decision as it now is rather sloppy. This knit seems closer so hopefully the same won't happen.
Emphasising the positives, it's cosy and is ideal if you don't like roll necks but want to feel warm. Looks great with jeans, or tones down smart skirts - I wear the cadet jumper with velvet petal skirt in raisin, or ecru jumper with printed a-line skirt in mocha.

I just wanted to write a review to say that I disagree with everyone else who says to size up, especially if you are slim. I normally wear most Boden in an 8 which is what I ordered and it looked great. I think if you sized up it would make you look quite wide, as the jumper is quite a boxy shape and meant to be fitted at the hem. Sizing up would have meant a saggy shape and would not have been flattering. Material is very soft and lovely quality, elbow patches are a nice touch. I think I would avoid this shape if you have big or broad shoulders as it could be inclined to make you look top heavy.

It looks exactly like it does in the catalogue and fits brilliantly.

I am a size 12 however after reading the other reviews re sizing up i ordered a 14.[...]so was dissapointed when it arrived and was too big and just a bit shapeless. I love the design but it just doesn't suit me! Its a lovely soft jumper and very warm but then it should be for the price. I was considering ordering the 12 however i have a feeling that although it may fit i'm not confident it would have enough shape. Sending it back i'm afraid.

Lovely comfortable jumper...bought in the fairisle, blue and ecru. I bought in a size larger and they fit like my normal size. I hate the feel of high necks around my throat, so this funnel neck was a great alternative. Love the contrast patches on the elbows.

This is perfect for me, I thought it would be too scratchy but it is soft and non irritating against my skin, It looks nice on and keeps its shape well. I haven't washed it yet so time will tell. A pity there is only one colour in the fair isle style. Could do with being a couple of inches longer but nevertheless looks great with jeans or my boden cord skirt. A good buy.

I ordered the fairisle and love the shape and colour mix even if the pattern is a little brighter than the website (the pink/orange tones are a lovely contrast to the flat grey). The length though is definitely high hip as opposed to low hip - even the model picture bears this out. The wool is lovely and soft but it seems to be bobbling a little under arms/on sleeve even after only a couple of days wear although so far they seem to pull off quite easily. Cosy is a very good description, and the fairisle is a stylish nod to the 'retro/nordic' jumper trend embodied by Sarah Lund in 'the Killing'. A little pricey and would not have bought without a discount, but I love it. I only hope that it washes ok.
