Got the gunmetal in a 6 - fits great and looks much better than the cropped cashmere cardigan series(which looks shrunken and somewhat ill-fitting in comparison). If there were more 6s left in stock for the sale, I would definitely get the pewter and pink! Would be great if Boden could bring this back for this year's autumn collection.

I initially loved this cardigan, especially the fig colour. It was purchased for a trip to Japan - unfortunately after three weeks in Japan it was pilling badly. I was really disappointed at how quickly the cashmere sweater pilled, especially since other Boden items I've purchased have held up well. Based on this purchase (expensive cashmere) I wouldn't buy a sweater again from Boden.

I bought several of these cardigans last year and really liked them, they were cosy and washed well, so I thought I would buy some this year too. I decided to wait for the sale and when my Ecru cardigan arrived I was very disappointed. The cashmere is alot thinner than last years and the buttons aren't as nice. I have decided to keep the cardigan but I won't be ordering any more, which is a shame as the colour I really wanted has just become available again in the sale.
Would definitely not have paid full price for this item.
Could we please have better quality ones next year please, I could do with a couple more

Flattering shaping - but the ecru is more of a dirty fawn colour rather than creamy, which was a shame. If it was in cream or there was a warmer red, I would have kept it.

At last I have the Pewter cardigan - a really flattering shade of grey. Good classic cardigan that I can wear with anything as it's a perfect length, much more versatile than the cropped cashmere, I find. I've been disappointed with the colour selection this year and would have liked some jewel tones/richer shades.

[...]. I ordered it in the ecru and although I thought it was a nice colour, once on over a very pale stripy top the pattern showed through. I don't want a winter cardigan which is see-through and I am afraid that even with a voucher and some other money off this cardigan is far too thin and not value for money. Sadly going back.

Last year I bought 3 boden cashmere cardigans ( 2 in the sale!) and this year wanted a black one. The fabric is nowhere near as soft as last year's fabric. It is even slightly scratchy which is unusual for cashmere. Also I think the fit is slightly smaller. I have kept the cardigan but do feel a bit cheated as the price is substantially more than last year for a much inferior product. Come on Boden, don't make me feel that way.

After a good deal of research I chose this cardigan for the colour ( I ordered the Cadet blue - it is fabulous ) the quality and the price, with a discount it was very competitive. I buy a lot of cashmere, am allergic to wool, so feel I am quite knowledgeable! I like everything about this cardigan and am considering getting another! Well done Boden, your clothes are really well made, last well and are very well priced.!

Bought the fig colour which is a lovely soft purple. Fit is fine but the quality a bit disappointing - it is thinner than the chain store one I have in the same colour that has been worn to death so I am only keeping it as I had a good discount. Better quality and much cheaper price can be found on the high street....
