Perfect over a shift dress. The same excellent quality and weight as the summer tie shrug cardigans. I have ordered several more for the spring and summer. I got so much wear out of the shrugs and these will be similar. I went down a size.

I believe you can never have enough cardis - I wear them all year round, and prefer a smart cardi to a jacket as eg. evening wear. This one ticks all the boxes. It is lightweight, but surpringly warm. The only thing I'd change and hence took off 1 star for, is that I'd prefer full length sleeves.

Love the cardi and goes perfectly with dress I bought it for. Wouldn't want to rely on warmth from it though as it is rather thin for winter weather. However, having said that it is really lovely and has that delicate twist to it that I wanted. Thank you.

Lovely, light-weight cardigan. I ordered the ruby and it is much pinker than I had anticipated. It is a 3/4 sleeve so be careful. It is too warm for an Australian summer (!) but I look forward to wearing it in the autumn.

I agree with other reviewers that this is definitely not an Autumn/ Winter cardigan (although it probably would have been suitable for the late unseasonal heat wave we've just had). However, on the assumption that Spring will come again, it is most certainly a keeper for me. I bought the ivory, and my first thoughts out the bag were negative, because it was so see through & thin. But once I tried it on over a few coloured tops, it showed its true versatility! It literally goes with everything - jeans, smart trousers, skirts, anything of any colour. What's more, if you wear it over a brightly coloured top, it takes on that colour e.g. it becomes a pink cardi when worn over a bright coral top. It was like pulling a rabbit out a hat.

It's a very flattering cut as well, with pretty touches - again more summery looking.

A real surprise that I liked it so much, so thank you Boden (even if you did put it in the wrong catalogue!).

I will probably use this as the matching cardigan to the pink/purple print skirt bought with it. I'm going to Shanghai in December to an international meeting and will wear this to chair a scientific session. It will be the most interesting outfit there!

I ordered 2 of these for colour choice ( love the raisin ) fine for Summer but I found them rather too thin for Autumn/winter wear. Also I didn't notice that the sleeves were only 3/4 so will reluctantly have to return.
