Bought this in the sale with the idea that I would send it back if it didn't hit the spot. It's not going back. I got it in pewter which I think will be easier to wear with more things. If you look at the pic you may see that there are two sizes of sequin, the smaller ones circle the larger one making it look like little petals, not really evident from the pic. The sizing is correct but it is slighly tight on the cuffs (maybe I need to lose a little. ) My only critisicm (personal preference) is that it could do with being an inch longer and slightly fitted rather than a loose cut. I am also going to have to cut out that nasty label before it gouges a hole in the back of my neck. This will wear for ever.

Fantastic colour (I chose navy). Great worn with a dress for a special occasion but can be worn to make a casual look a little more glamourous.

I agree with other reviewer - not great in bag as the sequins look very dull. However, once on STUNNING! What I really like about this jacket is that the garment will light up depending on the ambient lighting of the event ie. if it's a discreet daytime affair the jacket will look demure and expensive and not too "bling" . But if worn to a sparkly evening event with spotlights, the subtle sequins will light up (as in the picture) and will still look eye-catching and will twinkle.
I have bought Boden clothes for years and this one is definately up there with the Greats. I can see myself still wearing this as a (hopefully) Groovy Granny many years from now (kids are still little!!)

This is a fabulous garment and I am so pleased that I bought it. I have the pewter colour, but it was a tough choice. However, the pewter is classic and looks amazing with black. I also plan to wear it to dress up more simple clothes and to make me feel rather special. I received so many compliments because it is unusual, beautifully made, and a real steal at sale price. I am sure that I will be wearing it for years to come.

even at the sale price i wasn't sure if i could justify ordering this but of course i did. got the navy & when it arrived nearly didn't take it out of the packet as it's got those rather matt looking sequins. however tried it on & WOW there are no words to describe how beautiful it is. perfect for all those special occasions - holidays, dining out, weddings, the opera, & the list goes on. JUST BUY ONE BEFORE THEY SELL OUT !!!!!

I bought the navy colourway - the jacket is really luxurious, beading has been carefully applied with a floral pattern running throughout. This jacket is fully lined, a good fit, nips in at the waist which is very flattering and does not look out of placed partly buttoned up or unbuttoned. A fabulous jacket to dress up with smart palazzo trousers, jeans or shift dresses and one definitely to keep for years to come - a real classic !!! So I took a deep breath and bought this in navy. It is expensive! And there were no reviews - which is why I am writing one! Haven't worn it out yet but put it on with a pair of very dark navy jeans and a navy lycra top underneath. Did up the top button and hey - a good outfit for the going out season. Actuall didn't feel too dressy even when worn with my jeans. So yes I do recommend it as something special but it is pricey! Made a request for some spare sequins and the tiny beads - so let's see if Boden sends them out to me in Italy! Please please!
