I was really pleased to grab what I thought was a great sale bargain, as I already own a couple of Boden knitted dresess which I have worn and worn. However, this was a real dissapointment. I am slim build, and usually find that size 6 fits perfectly. The top half of this dress was tight under the bust, meaning the top gaped, yet the skirt was voluminous and looked shapeless - had to go back sadly, as the colour and material was great.

I ordered the fern colourway. Online the colours looked divine and perfect for heading into spring. Sadly the green is really forest/sludgy so made it look abit drab. Also the fit was dire on me (I'm usually very lucky with boden dresses. Slim with a bust but no hips) This was too big at the hips, snug at the bust and really short bodied (the underbust band kept riding up over my bust, not a good look). Lenght was fine but prob a little long for a regular lenght. Im 5ft6 and it sat on my knee. I prefer an inch or 2 above.

A lovely dress. It is an amazing fit, which, coupled with the block colour pattern, results in a very flattering dress. Despite being a 'regular', I have the dress in 'long', so that it is just beneath my knees and covers the top of my boots.

This is my first ever Boden purchase and I couldn't be happier. I vary between a size 8 and 10 (usually a 10 on top and and an 8 bottom). I ordered an 8 in this and it fits perfectly. It arrived yesterday and I was delighted with it when I tried it on. I couldn't wait to wear it to work this morning and I've already had loads of comments about the dress. It's really comfortable as well as stylish. Am tempted to order it in other colours too...

I love this dress, great fit, good weight of wool and great colour. Bought the green navy version and the fit is bang on. Feel great in this dress. At 5'4 the length of the dress is just on my knee. The only slight downside is that there is no lining.

This is the kind of dress you could wear every day, to anything. It fits well and is really easy to wear.
I bought the green - am not completely convinced by the colour but love the brightness so am giving it the benefit of the doubt. Have just ordered the pewter too as I can see I'm going to get a lot of wear out of this.
I would also add that although it feels a tiny bit itchy at first, I wasn't bothered by this for long.
