Bought this in the sale as wasn't prepared to pay full price. Bought the blue which is a rich dark blue bordering on a purple colour, really flattering on my skin tone, blonde with freckles. Ordered the 10R as 10L wasn't available and it hits me just on the knee but would have preferred the longer length as I think it lengthens the body and is more flattering. However neckline really gorgeous, bust looks marvellous and I'm only a 34C! Result! All the above combined with the good quality and flattering shape makes the puchase a no brainer. Well done Boden.

Another beautiful Boden dress which I think is very flattering. I had the size 10 in Navy and was lucky enough to get it in the sale. Could be worn every day or for a special occassion with the right accessories. Classy and stylish just what Boden do best.

Beautiful dress! Am a 10-12 (usually a 12) so ordered both sizes and have decided that the 10 is the perfect fit. I bought the navy colour, which is just gorgeous and a real classic. Have a January wedding for which it'll be perfect (warm and chic!) and can dress it up with sparkly accessories (although it's definitely smart enough by itself). Am delighted with it, especially as it was in the sale!
Boden, this is what you do best and I love you for it!

Agree with the reviewer who said it made her look as if she didn't have a waist. I'm beginning to feel very wary of dresses worn by models who are twisting and bending, as I'm wondering if this is Boden's way of trying to make a shapeless dress look as if it has some shape! It just 'hangs' from the bust and doesn't go in at the waist - which is not the impression given by the picture. Disappointing.

This is absolutely the best Boden dress ever, no wonder it is practically sold out. I was lucky to snatch one with a discount but would have paid the full price in any case. I bought it in black because navy was sold out in my size (12 long). It is absolutely fantastic with a long grey pearl necklace, silver silk scarf and long black suede heeled boots (not Boden but similar). The dress is quite fitted so I would not recommend sizing down. The ruffle detail makes it really special so it can be worn on a night out as easily as in the office. Another reviewer said that the top part was quite thin. I actually find it rather the opposite and very substantive, unlike many Boden dresses which are made of viscose or Tencell. This is a true winter dress -- no need to wear it with a cardigan or jacket. And it is incredibly easy to wear and so stylish!

I am a big fan of knitted dresses and this one is a lovely easy to wear dress in a comfortable fabric. I agree with the other reviews the neckline is very low but I think a simple stich will just hold it in place. The silk trim lifts it out of the ordinary. I would have ordered the navy one but it was out of stock so went for the green instead and I love the colour!! I am a size 12 to 14 and went for the 14 in this style.

This dress looked awful on me. Rather then an office to party dress it looked dowdy and frumpy. I think it could look great on a busty girl but my small waist is my best feature and the cut made it look like I didn't have one. Disappointing but I'll know to avoid this shape in the future!. I also found the fabric on top quite thin.

Have worn this dress with opaque tights and boots out with friends and to a black tie event with heels. It always attracts great comments. It's comfortable and lovely to wear. It is quite low at the front but a camisole remedies that without affecting the overall style.
