I ordered this as a smart maternity dress and the cut would certainly accommodate a bump for a good few months. It actually looked lovely and but the fabric is so thin! The quality really isn't good enough and the lining sat two inches shorter than the outer layer of the dress. Such a shame!

I ordered this dress in the purple in an 8 long in the clearance. The colour is lovely and the fit is both comfortable and flattering and smart enough to wear to the office as well as for lunches, dinners etc.
Not sure I would have paid full price for it, but in the sale, a great buy.

I agree with the previous reviewer, this is a very cunning dress. I have been on a bit of a mission these past couple of weeks trying different dresses from Clearance and this is the first one I am actually going to keep! Ordered in trailing grey bud and have just managed to snap up purple patchwork a few minutes ago! The reason it is cunning is definitely the way it hangs from under the bust - it is great at hiding a slightly paunchy tummy with it's suble gathering. The whole dress is well-cut to flatter, the only reason I gave it 4 rather than 5 stars is I am not so keen on the "camisole" effect bit, but you can easily push it down under the V opening so it can hardly be seen. The online photo put me off ordering this dress for a long time because it almost looked like she was wearing a sailor style dress at the top. Definitely recommended at this bargain price!

I love this dress! I had to review just so I could give it 5 stars. I am a short peson with no proper curves and this gives me fantastic shape. It feels luxurious and make me feel very grown up, slinky and sexy! I'm in my mid 40's and this is the first dress I've worn in 7 years (since babies) which has made me feel fabulous! I can't praise this dress highly enough. Gorgeous drapey material, fully lined (even the sleeves). I bought the shocking pink trailing bud and I am now getting the other pattern in the blues. The colours are much much richer than they appear on the website. I think this dress will flatter most shapes... it is cunningly cut. Buy it! Well done Boden, I hope you do this shape next year in petite please!!! More petites in general!

After looking at this dress for a long time since it was launched last autumn I decided to order it in the sale in the grey.The fit is ok and the colour as depicted but no way was this dress worth the full price and had I paid that it would have gone straight back but at the sale price it is adequate.The material is thin but gets away with it because it is lined but it doesn't feel like a [$] dress should.Boden to charge quality clothes prices you must deliver quality products which on the whole you do but not in this case.

First of all this is a brilliant dress for every day wear. Exactly what I wanted. Unlike other reviewers I love this material - it is thin but very good quality, very floaty and feels lovely next to my skin.
If only Boden would do a size 6 long.
In the moment I have the choice between short or oversized dresses ( : .
I bought a size 8 l in this style and as it is a jersey dress it does not matter so much but a size 6l would fit better : ). So please consider a size 6 l, I am sure it would be appreciated by others to.
