I loved the colours so much that I kept this. It is slightly baggy around the tummy at certain angles but it is so pretty otherwise that it is worth wearing. I've worn it for a christening, I plan to wear it to another and to an early summer wedding. It makes me feel really good and I got loads of compliments!!

Another nice dress, but cut for taller people. Consequently too tight on hips as the curve for the hips falls too low for me. The styling on the front is a bit baggy, but I don't think it's unflattering. I don't have a 'mummy tummy' and I though it looked nice. If there was a version cut for petite people I'd buy it. If you're standard height this is a great buy for summer, especially at the sale price.

This is a super chic and fresh dress perfect for a work day or for a trip to the seaside. Fabric is nice and true to size, I bought a 10 (which I usually use for dress that have not an A line).

oh dear! such a shame about the fit on this dress....
ordered the 8 in black ikat for my hols, thought it would be smart/dressy for evening but not OTT glammed up.... when the dress arrived LOVED the fit of the bodice and waist. the fabric felt good quality and the dress was lined, and machine washable - which is great.
however the cut of the skirt is weird - not tulip, not pencil skirt - so although im a 6/8 normally in Boden the 8 felt exactly right around bust but the combination of cut, fabric, stiff cotton and lining meant that the skirt stuck out around my bum and hips and made me look huge.. (and i'm not!).
its a shame, because this dress should have been great, but the skirt cut was neither one shape or another and as a result i cant think of anyone it would look good in... even on a petite size 6 who works out 6 x pw and has flat abs it made me look like i was pregant from the side!
sorry Boden, its on its way back to you.... im gutted!

Gorgeous color and fabric but the cutting is not for me, i have flat belly this dress is really for a mummy tummy. Very disappointed have to send this dress back.

I can see this would not be for everybody due to the tulip shape. I'm a petite size 6 with a bit of a pear shape and it is spot on. Love the colour (pink) and for the ridiculous sale price I think I'm going to have to go for the black ikat too. Might wear this to a neice's wedding later this year, if not just looking glam in the garden sipping a gin and tonic!

Lovely dress, bought it in the hot pink/orange, looks fab for a summer splash!
Great quality, lined, very shaped around the bust and high waist. Gives a curvy shape to a straight figure. Will look fab with heels!
Size is not generous, I am usually a small 8 (US 0 or 2P), and this only just fits me around the ribs and hips.
Main picture gives a good impression of the actual fit / shaping.
Definitely a keeper though, so pleased I picked this up in the Sale for a tiny price - bargain!!

This dress [...] fits like a dream. At 5'7" the regular sits just above my knee and the bodice fits comfortably over my FF bust. I have never purchased a Boden dress before - too twee and mumsy for me - I'm more urban chic. Thought this one had potential and boy was I right! I'm a slim build, but this dress gives that 'curvy' feeling with class. Although I'm 5'7" with long legs, the regular length looked best falling just above the knee. The bodice of the regular feels smaller than the long version too.
I adore the bright colourway options. Purchased the pink and black & white versions and can't wait to wear them! Thanks Boden - you may have found a new fan.
That said, easy on the empire lines - you laid it on a bit too thick this season!
