It's nearly right - colours in the berry option are lovely, but the fit at the top is a bit strange (fits across the bust but isn't right on the shoulders), and I think the skirt should be fuller. Sending it back as it doesn't quite work for me.

Overall, I can only describe this dress as plain. The block colours are a great idea but the blue was not very vibrant and the material looks a bit cheap with the shine running through it. Beautiful neckline and shows off the upper back nicely but not worth the price tag. The fit was good but there isn't very much netting and it certainly didn't puff out like a proper fifties dress should.

I ordered this dress after reading a review in the critics corner and I'm so glad I did. I am a usual size 12, 5'8" 34dd bust and the 12 fitted perfectly falling to middle knee. It has netting under the skirt (not loads) which gives it a great shape. It feels like a proper party dress. The neckline is not too low and the straps are wide enough to wear a decent bra. I ordered the blue and the top half is a nice turquoise with a navy band just under the bust and a black skirt. I think it is a little expensive at full price. But I got it with a 20% discount which made it more bearable. The only small negative is as it's silk it does crease horizontally across the skirt after sitting for a while. Other than than it's a fabulous little dress.

I bought this to attend a winter wedding and I wasn't disappointed. It feels lovely on and I was happy to dance the night away. It feels slightly too small around the bust area conpared to other Boden dresses of the same size but this was very minor. Overall a great dress!

This is a great dress - I love the shape and it fits me beautifully.
I ordered the berry option and colors are lovely, I'd say better than they look on the website. The top half is more of a reddy pink than it looks in the photos, and the ribbon around the middle is brighter too.
Really looking forward to wearing it!
