I managed to snap this up in the blue in the sale at a great price and was so excited when I opened the box because it was even more gorgeous than I expected BUT was so disappointed when I tried it dress on. Perhaps it's my shape that is the problem, (hourglass with narrow top half) but although the colours were gorgeous, just like in the photo, especially the skirt and the fabric was a very high quality with a subtle stretch to the skirt, it just didn't fit right. I am usually an 8 in Boden dresses and have other items from the lovely Limited Collection but this one was just too wide on top and under the arms giving it a saggy mumsy look on me and the band around the middle was also wide so it just made me look bigger than I am. The skirt fit fine though so I couldn't size down. Am going to sleep on it but sadly think it will have to go back

Stunning dress, I am loving the Limited Edition dresses. I have 4 now, they fit so well and are beautifully finished. The dress is a snug fit but is so flattering. Love the stretch to the silk. Get one quick before they sell out.

I bought this dress in the red colourway at a great price on the sale and after much looking at it I am sending it back. This is a lovely quality dress, well cut and finished BUT it really is far too busy ( at least in the red/pink colour, maybe teh blue is more subdue) and the contrasting patterns on the top and the skirt do not complement each other but fight for attention.
For me it didn't feel 'elegant' enough and I know I wouldn't have worn it more than once. It screams 'Boden' far too much as well (not a bad thing but I prefer a quieter elegancce)and I feel that either teh top pattern with a plain skirt or the skirt with a plain top would have been a better choice.
But please don't be put off by this- if you love busy dresses this one is for you!

Unfortunately this is going back as the waist is too large - this dress definitely suits someone with curves (or hips) rather than the straight up-and-downs. Pity. I am Malaysian-Chinese, 5'2" size 6/8 - bought the blue, but I think the pink would have been better for my colouring.

Ordered in my usual standard 10. I am a petite but like a dress to be just below my knee at shortest. This was too tight, and I have a number of other size 10 Boden dresses that fit well.
Other than the fit this is a beautiful dress and I am not able to otherwise fault it at all. I am very sad to have needed to return my 10 as the sale started and I doubt I will get a size 12 in return now.

didn't want to wait for the sale just in case i missed out - but got a good discount on this dress which prompted me to buy it now and i love it, size 12 in blue fitted perfectly - the colours are gorgeous, feels wonderful, looks fabulous and helps to disguse the big bust - if you are thinking of buying it - DO - you won't regret it:)

I ordered a size 8 and 10 but the 8 as too tight on the bust and the 10 too large at the hips. This was the first dress I have sent for from the limited edition collection and I was very impressed at the finish, especially the inside seems.I also sent for the velvet trim dress and although it was not up to the same standard as this one it did suit me better and I have kept it.
