I loved this dress from the first time I saw it on the website, bought a few other items in the sale that I am very pleased with and decided -why not get this too!! but its tooo short - Ive tried it with spanx which did make a difference, but Im sending it back and ordering the long. Im 5'7 but usually regular length suits me fine.

Love this dress!! liked the style and thought it would fit my body shape when I first saw it but I was a bit concerned about the bias cut (can accentuate 'hippyness') or that it could look frumpy, especially in what I think is the 'safest' colour option. Needn't have worried, it's fab, and fits perfectly - I don't seem to have the bust issues other reviewers mention even though I'm a D cup. Long length just on the knee, spot on with boots!! A real feelgood dress. Haven't washed it yet but it feels as though it will wash well and may even get away without ironing - bonus!

Bought coal quill in 16L. It just reaches my knee and I am 5ft 6". So for me the length is great and I love the feel of the material which looks smart and feels like it might be warmish and is not too thin. But I was surprised with the colour as I expected it to be yellow in places (must be the photo or my eyes) but its autumnal colours which I love. The pattern hides a not so perfect tummy area. The main problem is the bust area just does not fit my 38B chest properly. I can see me forever pulling the dress down as it rides up over my chest. So if you are flat chested you'll love it. I'm gutted to be sending this back as it feels so comfortable on but the bust area is not right. I don't want to go up to 18L cos I think it will be too big so it will have to go back.

I love this dress, again, beautiful material - was dubious when I read about the bust comments some reviewers have made - not a problem for me as I've recently put on a little weight and gained a cup size! Hides little lumps and bumps and is really comfortable too wear. Boden have inspired me to wear dresses more often - so many to choose from!

I wasn't sure whether to buy this dress after reading the reviews but I had had my eye on it since I first saw it and decided to take the plunge. I'm glad to say I did. The material is just devine and hangs beautifully and the print is awesome. Wearing this dress makes me feel a million dollars and looks amazing with the mohair cardigan and low heel books for a more casual look and bloomsbury heels for a more dressy occasion. Thanks Boden.

I love the colours and pattern of this dress (coal quill), the material is lovely and swishy and it's fully lined so good value for money. BUT - and I'm gutted about this - the fit is terrible :( Hangs directly down from the bust and this makes the fabric bulge out making me look pregnant. I guess this wouldn't be a problem if you were very small or flat chested but I'm a fairly standard size 36B and it looks really bad.
It really needs a design alteration to make it more fitted under the bust as that would be all it would take to elevate this to a 5 star dress.

I loved the colours in this dress they really stood out on screen however, the cut was really weird it did not fit in the bust area at all and just hung in a really odd way everywhere else. I also felt for the money the material was of quite a cheap quality. Nice design but needs to be in a different material

I'm unsure why this dress got unfavourbale comments regarding being too small on the bust. I'm a 32c and it's fine (and yes I have had a baby only a year ago). The length is FAB. Just right on my 5ft 3 frame, a tiny smidgen above knee. I hate to say it but some of your dresses finish a bid frumpily mid calf for my liking. No one wants a belt, but you can go too far the other way sometimes for us petite frames. There is perhaps a tad too much material on the tummy area but nothing to worry me (but why I took a mark off). The material is beautiful very silky and slinky with a real swish and great autumnal pattern.

I was unsure about the material of this dress, but I have to say it feels like silk. I did have to put a hidden stitch into the material around the bust area( it was just a little too revealing). I wore it to the theatre & felt so comfortable with opague tights & heels & got several compliments. I bought size 14R which fitted a treat & the colour bluebell was lovely. Thank you Boden I have a dress I feel comfortable in.
