I love this dress and wear it all the time - it is perfect for work, can be dressed up with heels for going out and dress down with a cardy and boots or balerina pumps. Great all rounder. It is a perfect fit and shape - I am a standard size 12 and it is very flattering - I get compliments on it every time I wear it. I bought this dress in purple and in petrol and loved the fit so much I bought a 3rd one in petrol and took off the large beads off on it to make it look different and more versatile. My 19-year old niece loved it so much I got one (the 4th one) for her too - she is a size 12 though different shape than me and it fits her perfectly too. My only regret is the limited colour range. Any chance for a cranberry red one, fuschia pink, royal blue or plum and with less of fussy details?

Although I really liked this dress I hesitated a lot before ordering because I was not sure about sizing and this is a fitted dress. I liked the petrol version but my husband advised that the black one is the only I should consider so I ordered the black. It is really the best ever Boden dress. Size 10 fits like a glove and the dress is extremely comfortable and flattering. The fabric has a satin sheen so it looks and feels luxurious without being over the top. The grey circles make it more interesting than plain black without being 'in your face'. The lenght is perfect (I ordered the long versiion and it covers my knees). So all in all, most pleased with this purchase and looking forward to a version of this in the autumn catalogue.

Ordered this in sale, had my eyes on it for ages in the blue and sooooo wanted it to be perfect. Sadly colour darker than shown online and fitted up top beautifully but was too wide at waist and hips and therefore sadly sending back.Sizing as so many people have said about many different items is so hit and miss this season.

Loved this dress and bought the petrol blue also. ~the only critism i have is that the larger sizes (22) needs to have the regular option as i always have to have these dresses taken up and I am tall 5.7 so please johnny consider this option!!!!

Simple, flattering design, with a bit of fun detail. It's cotton with a slight stretch and a lovely sheen. Good quality, love the fact that it's lined. Smart, but not too smart. It seemed a little larger in my normal size, so I had to size down. Would like to see some more colours.
