I really wanted to like this dress but it felt big all over. It did nothing for me. I am a size 8 /10 and it made me look huge. The pockets are in the wrong place. Gutted as it looked good on the model.

Re the fancy dress: if I had a little pill box hat, I reckon I'd look just like the air hostess I secretly deamed of being as a little girl in the 60's.
Mine too arrived a little crumpled, but nothing an iron and a damp cloth couldn't cure. The fit is good - loose-ish on the waist and hips (in the 14) but that will be good for all the Christmas dos and mince pies which are to come.
The dress feels fun - my only gripe would be with the short sleeves for the winter. Why?
I have the blue and it's more royal than navy, which is what I was expecting, but more unusual and therefore better. As a redhead, I was surprised it suited me - but I think it does, and husband has confirmed.
So, a dream dress!

I only ordered this after someone else's comments. I actually didn't expect it to suit me, but was pleasantly surprised. It is a very flattering shape. Although it is plain, the stitching adds just enough detail to make it stand out from other little black dresses. I wore it with black opaques and a long silver necklace on a night out and got several compliments.
It is true to size, but I would have preferred the regular to have been just an inch longer.
A purchase that I think I will get lots of wear out of.

Yes a big tick for this one! I understand the previous reviewer saying it's cream not white - yes it is but a light cream and definitely not yellowy - it's a winter white and a perfect colour as I think any more white would have been too summery. Fits perfectly, exceptionally comfortable, looks great. I'm 5 ft 2 and it finishes just above my knee so order a long if you're tall. For me though it's a perfect length - stops it looking frumpy - and perfect to wear with opaques/boots. If it comes back into stock then would definitely recommend!

I had high expectations of this dress, but unfortunately I've sent it back. As soon as I unpacked the dress, I was very disappointed: the fabric was rather thin and very wrinkled. Also the off-white had a yellowish (ocre) tone, I looked dead wearing that colour. Size 12 was unavailable and the size 14 I ordered was like a sack. I would have liked the dress more in the thick strech fabric and the colour more creamy white like depicted on the website instead of the ocre tone white in reality.
