I was really pleased with this purchase. Quite a unique style and colour (I purchased the gold one) and received lots of complements each time I wore it. Washes extremely well and does not crease easily when wearing it.

Wonderful dress! Got it in grey, then black, and guess what, now purple too - all in the sale. Trying hard now to wrestle with the urge to take the last colour (yellow). Its very warm for this frosty weather (looks good with a long sleeved top underneath and thick tights) but smart enough for the office. Well done Boden!

I ordered the dress in the black and gold [...]The gold [...] I loved the material, the colour and the fit - I ordered long as I'm 5'9 and the dress sat on my knees. The black [...] when I tried it on it came to 3" above my knee (even though it was the same size and a long like the other dress). First issue Boden - inconsistent sizing. I kept both though and wore the black one a few times keeping the gold for a party.......unfortunately the circles at the hem of the black dress started to fall off because the thread was snapping. I put on the gold dress for the party and found that one of the darts was unravelled. Both went back, which I'm really disappointed about because I like the design but the quality was just bad.

Oh my, what can I say, this dress surprised me. I feel I know what syles suit my body and personality but still get it wrong on occasion. So I have looked at this dress on the website many times but dilly-dallied about getting it. It looked fantastic- a hint of 60's style without being cheesy, simple, no fuss design with a bit of interest at the hem. Well it went on sale and I thought- 'why not?' I got the black and gold in 10L thinking I would return one.
Well I am keeping both and super glad I got two because I would have ordered another immediately.
4 stars only because the hemming around the neck is a tad too thickly done. Otherwise the fit is great, it skims the body and lands just above my knees. I am 5'6 so this length works for me.
A near perfect dress which is incredibly flattering, classy, understated, a 'suitable for any occasion' dress. Even the hubby was impressed (a rare event.)

Having previously purchased the black and the purple version of this dress I decided to add to my collection and buy the grey too.If you can grab this in the sale you wont be disappointed, the fit is stylish,the design quirky and best of all it dries in no time after a machine wash.I wear my with heels for work and with boots for parties.A really fabulous dress with endless uses i hope it is repeated in AW12

Lovely dress & colour (ordered the purple, but not for me. It fit well but just a little too well on the tummy and although I'm quite small, felt a bit 'tummyish' Looks good though with the leopard skinny belt from last year! - Nice design but made me a bit hot, have ordered some more styles to try - prefer the summer cotton frocks, but jersey dresses are always a winner from Boden!

I was excited when I saw this dress and thought it would be a lovely, bright antidote to cold winter days. Sadly I'm disappointed with it.
I'm 5ft 10 and between sizes 10-12. I got 12L and it hung off me like a sack and was far longer than I expected reaching about 3'' below the knee. Felt more like a size 14-16... The material is heavy and not very flattering, it felt boxy and the colour isn't as fresh and 'golden' as I had imagined. Sadly, this dress is going straight back :-(

I love this dress. The cut is very flattering and the material is substantial for cooler months. I bought the charcoal colour and have worn it during the day and into the night and it effortlessly makes the transition!
