Bought in sale to wear under the tweed duffel coat Perfect combination as the pink detail is exactly the same as the lining of the coat. Not too bulky. Bought in sale due to need for dry cleaning.

I am a size 16 but took other reviewers advice and ordered 18 which fitted well over the bust but gaped a lot under the arms and at the back.I just think it wasnt cut too well...But I loved it and would have kept it but for the above. Sadly it goes back.

This really should be a little bit longer. I would only recommend it to someone who likes things very fitted. That being said it is getting regular use as a practical layering piece when the weather is cold.

When something makes you look like Ming the Merciless there's a problem!
I reckon the model was bending slightly and holding the gilet down at the back. The shoulders were huge and the chest too tight...and I don't have much of a bosom. I understand that we are all different shapes, but sorry Boden, I just don't get this one.

This is a perfect gilet - excellent style and quality, warm but not bulky. The trim and other design details make it very stylish. I love the grey version with black trim, not so sure about the other colourways, especially the bright pink! I had almost given up on gilets in despair until this one came along. Now I wish I had bought at least two! Thank you - lovely item.

Perfect fit in my normal 10. I will wear a longer sweater underneath, but I like that the gilet is neat and doesn't add bulk. Side pockets perfect for dog's treats. Very warm. A great sale buy!

Bought this from the Winter preview and have worn it loads. Initially over a jumper as outerwear, now as an extra layer under jackets and coats. Always gets comments. But just a little small! Short and slightly tight, although I bought my usual Boden size.

I ordered this gilet in the Thunder Melange colourway in the sale - what a bargain! It's a shame Boden haven't shown the contrast linings in the photos as the Thunder Melange has a gorgeous purple lining. Even for me at under five feet tall, the gilet is on the short side and I would have preferred another inch or two on the body length, hence four stars instead of five. I haven't had a chance to wear this item outside yet, so can't comment on durability or warmth, but it feels like a cosy, high quality garment. Next year I'd like one in a heathery purple or teal please, Mr Boden!

I bought this gilet to wear to work and give me an extra layer of warmth. Having read the previous review my hopes were not too high but due to it being in the sale I thought I would give it a try. I must admit I am very pleasantly surprised! You can feel the quality, it is a nice cut and provides the much needed warmth! The only down side is the dry cleaning :( I have just popped back onto the Boden website to see if there any other colours available..... Well worth the money!
