Ordered this jacket in my usual size 14 in Navy. Loved it at first sight, but when I tried it on it felt big all over.
Then ordered a size12 in the Red as it was the only colour still available.
Arrived this morning and fits great and I love the colour, lovely and bright.
Then saw that there was another size 12 available in the Navy, so i've ordered that too!
Can't praise this jacket enough, will be great for spring, (its not really warm enough for winter).
My only reason for not giving 5 stars is that the sleeves do come up very long,meaning they have to be turned back, but overall I am very pleased with my 2 new jackets!
Great price in the sale too.

Love this jacket. Have worn it every day with my Boden spotty scarves with jeans, skirts and dresses. Wish I'd bought it ages ago. True to size. Sleeves slightly long but not so it bothers me. I'm curvy with big bust so bust probably is roomy as others have said but like my Boden cord dress this jacket fits like it was made for me. Hubby offered to buy it for me, he liked it so much when I tried it on. Love the lining.

I was really hoping this would fit me OK - other comments have said large in bust area - 38DD so thought this would be OK. Ordered 16 & 18 - 16 fitted at bust and shoulders but too tight everwhere else - 18 too big in bust, baggy sticky out bit at back/top shoulders!! weird but fitted at waist. I am 5'10 and although shortish would have been ok if fitted everywhere else. Nice long arms. Also didnt like the fabric in the arms, meaning it wasnt easy to get on or off, dragged on clothing. Too fitted in my mind. Quality of fabric good and finish looked ok. Both going back, what a shame.

This jacket is just perfect for the cooler days. It's very comfortable and the red spotty linning is just great. I have found that the only downside is the length of the arms are very long. However, as the linning is so nice turning the cuffs over isn't too much of a hardship.The length of the sleeve is the only reason for giving 4 stars instead of 5.

The coat has a great cut which is fitted at the waist which sets it apart from other quilted jackets. The cord detailing on the jacket adds to its stylishness. It is both comfortable and practical and can be worn dressed up or down. The quality is excellent and I would definantly recommend.

Ordered navy and sage in size 14. Navy seemed more versatile colour as sage seemed too 'country' so sent it back . I'm 5'9" and sleeves were very long and jacket length shorter than I like.I feel the cold so don't find it very warm but fine for chilly spring/summer evenings or milder days,or when in the car or shopping.Not pleased that I have already had to resew on 3 buttons as quality of the contrast red thread was very poor and loose after 2 wearings. Liked the button up pockets and super red spot contrast lining. Would probably suit bustier figure due to bust darts and thickness of quilting which seem to make the jacket stand out at the front.

With this type of jacket very popular Boden has the quality at another level. I bought this jacket because I thought it would be practical but it has received the following comments, " well you can tell its a Boden" "look at the quality" " you look great "its smart yet practical . Wearing this on my return to work after a long absence this garment alone has boosted me as everyone states how great it makes me look . My mother bought two and can't wait to wear them but broke her shoulder on her 46th wedding anniversary and just looks at them in anticipation .
If you want a practical jacket that looks stylish and shouts quality to everyone, buy this one , a real gem in the Boden crown . Its lighweight yet warm and windproof and I think it will certainly be well warn by me this autumn /winter. The picture doesn't do it justice. Get one before they all go !

Selected bright red in usual size and fits well. Ordered green too but preferred red - makes more of a statement. Sleeves not an issue for me but the fashion does seem to be to turn back cuff to show lining. Would have liked it to be a tad thicker/warmer and I do find the cotton lining sticks to whatever I'm wearing underneath. However, will be useful for shopping, going to the pub, visiting friends, etc.

I don't think I am the right shape for Boden jackets as I have never found one that fitted including this one. I am a 14 but this was just too big mainly around the chest although it was OK accross the shoulders. I have a relativley small bust and I think this is made for someone more well endowed. Great design but no good on me. I would suggest ordering 2 sizes to try.
