This coat is straight rather than swing and is perfect fit for me in size 10 ( I am boden 8/10 in tops). Very flattering. The material looks and feels expensive and gives a classy look. I have worn it to work, for going out, to the shops and a walk by the sea at christmas. I love it.

This coat has been worn twice. I have the mustard in size 12. This 'swing coat' is just amazing; it is cut so as to swing when the wearer moves. Elegant, chic and makes me feel fabulous!

This coat is gorgeous. I ordered it in the black and it looks great on. I was a little worried about the size as I am an 8-10 but I ordered the size 10 and it fits perfectly. I didn't find it on the roomy side like some reviewers have mentioned.
Also it still looks like more of a coat then a jacket on me.
The lining is also beautiful on it. I can't fault the coat at all.

I would recommend this coat, I'm an average size 12 but it is slightly short in the arms but too big across the back/chest. The quality is good but choose your size wisely. I am returning mine because of the size issue.

I loved the look of this jacket, fine attention to detail, loved the velvet trim and lining. I wish I could have kept it but I could not put up with the very itchy neckline. Such a shame, a beautiful jacket. If you don't mind itchy, go for it!

This almost went back but luckily i put the wrong label on the box! Bought it home from the PO and changed my mind. Luckily, as I love it now!
It does require narrow/skinny trousers or skirt on your bottom half though, otherwise you look a bit unshapely. Lovely soft wool and I like the velvet trimming.

I have never really had a lovely winter coat, apart from casual ones, and when I saw this I feel in love with it, colour, style, everything, and you know when you see something thats looks fantastic on the model, but got no chance of it looking like that on you, well this coat isn't one of them, you look just as good as the model!

I am a curvey size 20-22 and for years have been told that a "swing" coat is ideal for me. However, I have always found that they make me look short (I'm 5'6"), matronly and old and have always been a disappointment. Well not this one! It's fantastic. Like a previous reviewer has said, this is not actually a swing coat. There is no pleat at the back and the fit is more shaped than I have seen on previous coats. The overall impression is chic and classy and the coat can be dressed up or down. It looks as classy worn open and buttoned up and it looks good with skirts and trousers. The bell sleeves are lovely as is the velvet trim and add to the classy appearance. The only downside is that the wool seems a little on the thin side but then again the coat is lovely and roomy and perfect for layers underneath -- just like a coat should be. However, the overall feel and appearance of the coat is fantastic. Well done Boden
