This is simply a lovely coat - I followed the reviews and ordered one size up (regular length) - but this was a mistake - too big and need my normal size. Am hoping for a return in my normal size 8 so I can own this lovely coat. Brown check is so much better in the flesh - vibrant deep colours rather than the dull shades shown on computer. Highly recommend.

Fabulous design that can be used to dress up an outfit; a classic coat that will last the years. Feels strangely familiar as bought a similar style years ago in multi-coloured spot....saw this one in the sale and had to have it. Perfect length, correct waist position and true to size. Keeps the wind out and the warmth in; well done Boden!

Really beautiful tweed, makes a stunning coat -- great shape, love the cut and design and the length.
BUT the bust and shoulder feel half a size small though the waist and hips feel true to size. I would advise getting this coat in one size up.
Really really pleased with it especially at the sale price -- Bargain!

I was very excited about ordering this coat but I have to say I am a little disappointed now it has arrived. I'd say I'm an average sized 30 (something!) year old, 5'4" and a generous size 10. I ordered a 12 as I read reviews which suggested the coat is a little thin and probably wouldn't fit a couple of layers under it if ordered in one's true size. The fit in the body IS good, but the sleeves are very long! Also, the coat is VERY itchy! Particularly around the neck area. I think I will probably keep it as it's a good buy for [$], but I certainly wouldn't have bought it for [$]

Lovely coat, my husband bought me this coat for my christmas present, luckily in the sale! I have been looking for a smart coat to wear over my jeans, it smartens up any outfit. Not so good in a cold wind as the coat is a bit thin for a winter coat, but for a spring coat/mild winter its perfect. Have had compliments already about how the coat looks and how flattering it is. I have managed to stick a thick jumper under it and it still looks good. Grab this coat whilst you can.

Firstly this is a beautiful coat, ordered at sale price in the brown multi and it's anything but brown!! Beautiful purple tones and a wonderful example of British Tweed. The shape is slightly formal and probably best suited to taller, slender figures. I'm short, big-busted and size 14-16! As much as I thoroughly loved the coat, sadly I had to return it. But if you're of average height, average chest size and looking at this in the sale, you'd be a fool not to buy it - it's simply beautiful!

Beautiful coat, great price in sale, alas the colour just doesn't suit me. I got the 12 as other reviews had noted the small size it is a lovely fit and I am usually a size 10. Sadly it is parcelled up for returning as the colour is not right for me.

Now I have always wanted a tweed coat and have had my eye on this one for months. When I saw the sale price I just clicked away. I was concerned how it might fit (got my standard size 8R), but for a ready to wear coat it's perfect. There's no excess space in the back, it's fitted, but not too fitted so I can wear some layers. Found it surprisingly warm - wore it in approx. +4 C weather with a top & light cardi underneath and didn't feel cold at all. I took off 1 of the side lapels (panels?) and attached the other one in the back, which is more flattering on the waist imho. That said the waist on the coat does sit a bit higher than my natural waist, but I don't think that it matters. I got the check print version.

This is a beatuful and very flattering coat. It doesn't feel particularly thick, but is warmer than my M & S coat I was wearing. The fabric is lovely and it is well finished with deep pockets. I am a size 20 and this coat is very flattering in it's cut and length. I thought about buying it for a while and am really glad I did. This is a proper Boden great!

Wonderful coat. Received it a couple of days ago and I'm so happy with this. It has a lovely shape, its fitted and well tailored. I'm a size 6, which I ordered and I dont think I'll be able to wear really chunky thick jumpers undearneath. It's not a problem though, as here in the south of Spain we dont have very harsh winters. The design is so different to what you usually get although a little hard to combine with other colored clothes.
The material I do find a little thin in relation to its price. I was surprised when I got the parcel of how light it was. I believe this should be improoved, as it is not a cheap garment. By the way, I bought the aquamarine style.
