I ordered this coat in green and was initially not sure - but so glad I purchased it- simply wonderful !!! great detailing in the piping and pleats. I've got broad shoulders and was worried this coat would not suit my shape - need not to have worried as it's very flattering !!! The tab pockets are all functional with great deep side pockets, nice purple lining to compliment the green colourway. This coat is a heavy wool twill, warm and stylish. Great to wear with black leggings/Roma trousers and boots to keep in theme with the military style !!!

Perfect for work and play! This coat can be dressed up or down. I went for the olive green and it is a gorgeous colour that I haven't seen much of elsewhere, so it feels a bit different. Detail, pleating of fabric creates a lovely effect and makes it really flattering.

This is the first time I've bought anything from Boden, and was very impressed with the quality of the coat. There was no false pockets (indeed the main pockets are deep and well hidden), the stitching was well done, it look like quality. Like the contrast lining in a funky purple. The coat is not overly thick but being made from 100% wool the coat is very warm. Thought it was expensive at first but it's well worth every penny.

I love military tailoring as it always looks smart. This is a beautiful dark navy coat with gorgeous pleat detailing on the front and back. I really like the side pockets. Normally would be 12-14 for hips but 12 was fine. Sleeves are long but I will probably be grateful on colder days. I intend to wear this to smarten up my look on the school run but would also be lovely over a dress and boots for more formal occasions.

Absolutely love this coat but the sleeves are so much too long for me. Please, please, can we have these in petite next year. The rest of the coat fitted perfectly and I loved the heavy feel of it and the luxurious lining. Got it in the navy which I would have worn and worn, but when I tried to fold the sleeves up the material was just too thick, and also of course this meant the lovely cuff feature was lost. I am so so disappointed, but look forward to next year and hope that the petite range will be extended to all coats and jackets.

Beautiful coat at a great price. I've had so many compliments. The pleat detailing is lovely.
The reason I only gave it 4 stars was that I needed to get it taken in to give it shape -it fiited over my shoulders but was way too loose around my ribs and waist.
Now it's perfect.

This is a good quality, good weight winter coat with lovely details. The pleats and piping are very stylish. The one big criticism is that the collar is quite scratchy as the wool is a bit coarse. The only solution is to wear a scarf with it. I am a size 6 to 8 in Boden and bought the size 8 which fits perfectly and is very flattering.

I loved this coat on sight. I ordered it in black because it was the best match for the rest of my wardrobe.
When it arrived it looked as if it was everything I'd hoped for. It is so well made and has fantastic detailing. Great coat.
Sadly it did not suit me. I am a size 10/12 and have broad shoulders. In this they looked very broad and the rest of me shapeless. I tried a belt but that looked a bit too military. I very regretfully sent it back.

I ordered this in navy in size 10, but was really disappointed when it arrived. OK, it is a nice warm weight coat, BUT a rather frumpy style AND with PLASTIC BUTTONS! I am getting a bit fed up with you, Boden, using so many plastic trims. It is not good enough considering the price you are asking for your products. This coat should really have had good quality brass buttons. No surprise then that this has gone back.
