This is a great coat for Spring but nearly didn't order it as it looks poor on the model (perhaps the navy hides the detail...can't be the model!!!!) The stitch detail lifts it from the ordinary,I have the pale shade,the material is great quality and the fit is superb.I have had lots of compliments.Thanks

This would have been the perfect coat....
The material is fabulous, non itchy and slightly stretchy. The green and purple lining was just beautiful, and the charcoal colour was the perfect thing to dress up or down and go with everything. BUT Oh, those awful press studs have ruined the entire coat. They pop open at the least movement and they're positioned too close to the edges of the coat so that it doesn't lie flat. If I wore this coat open all the time it would be no problem, but it's A WINTER COAT! I need to fasten it up occasionally. I would gladly have paid the full price for this if it had proper buttons because the quality is wonderful but I'm afraid it's going back and I'm really sad. Please put proper buttons on next year. Please

[...] tried it on and I love it, fits well over a thick jumper and my jeans, but you could easily wear over a suit for work or that little black dress for a Christmas party. Feels nice and warm, and the sleeves are a great length for those of you like me who have long arms. I am a size 12, but always get a size 14 in coats as I have wide shoulders and long arms and legs. My search still goes on for a great navy coat. I was really looking forward to getting this coat but, alas, it has to go back. The poppers didn't stay shut and it pulled up between my shoulders and gave me a permanent hunchback look! Even though I'm quite busty it was lower down that the poppers came open! The rest of the coat fitted well and the 2 colours are lovely together. It didn't feel substantial enough to be a reliable winter coat but I'm sure others will love it.

I needed a really good coat that would immediately make me look smarter than I am for work or going out whilst keeping me warm. This coat fits the bill totally. It is 100% wool, which is much nicer than the high street acrylic mixes and it was affordable with the offer/reduction, especially as style wise (classic and simple) and quality wise, it should last a good few years. If I wear it with my sneakers it looks good, and if I wear it with work stuff it looks smarter.
Only worry (why the 4 not 5 *) is the poppers - they could easily fail long before the coat is ready to end. But if they do, I will be back to Boden to sort it!
I am so pleased with this. I got the blue one by the way, which is a lovely colour.
