I agree with other reviews that the coat isn't as warm as a duffel coat suggests, however I bought the wool body warmer to go with it and they match really well as the pink detail on the body warmer is a perfect match with the lining on this coat. I bought my regular size in both and they fit together well. As both were bought in the sale this was a good price. I would probably have returned the duffel if bought at full price as it wouldn't have been warm enough in winter on its own. The only other thing I would add is that the pockets are really tiny. Very happy though as the colours in the tweed and the fit are very complimentary.

First, I love the green tweed although it is bright! Coat is thin and far too good for dog walks in the field, was left wondering where I would wear it as I have several smarter coats.
A bit of an impulse buy in the sale so going back, only real criticism - I thought the toggles were hideous and the black really stands out against the green.

This is a fantastic coat/jacket, casual yet stylish, makes school-run or dog walking a 'fashion moment'! Although admittedly quite thin it is still very warm and fits generously leaving plenty of room for a thick jumper (should you really need it!). The colour (green check) is gorgeous! In the sale price is an absolute steal!

I bought this coat despite the previous reviews. The Green Tweed is Gorgeous and the lining is a great contrast colour, but would have been nice to have a fleece lining for more warmth.
Boden coats are always a little short in the arm for me. The button holders are made of plastic leather, this would have been better with a thick wool string. Nevertheless a keeper.x

Nice styling and for my opinion "very British".
Normally I like very comfortable jackets ( With a bunch of children I prefer softshell ) but I fell in love with that jacket. It fits perfectly and it looks just perfect with a simple green shirt.... ( I forgot to say that I have bought the green one! ).
The only thing that could be better is the fabric of the lining that could be more shiny ( the colour is perfect ) and the straps for the buttons could be made of leather....
Nevertheless a nice jacket.

I was dissappointed with the thickness of this duffle. It was much thinner than I thought it would be. It is described as medium weight but I would consider it lightweight perhaps for autumn/spring worn with a jumper. It is nice but in my opinion a bit pricy as it's lightweight.I felt if it was thicker it would hang better too. I ordered one for my mum aswell and her thoughts are the same as mine.

True to size, trimmings don't look cheap (despite not being leather) lovely quality material with a good sized, well shaped hood.
Bought the green tweed - colour and shape as expected from photos online. Really pleased with the coat, a bargain at the sale price!

a nice mid season coat. i have the blue and the colour is really lovely, very rich. it's very comfy to wear and a good weight for everyday running around. i'm not keen on heavy coats. the reason i liked this duffle over other designs was that the pockets are on a slant so i can put my hands in comfortably, but was a bit disappointed that the pockets are not very generous, i can't put the whole of my hands in even as a fist. i may attempt to redo the pocket linings. don't be so tight mr boden!
