I wear this coat all the time to smarten up a casual look or to compliment a goint out outfit. It is perfect, the fit is great, it is both comfortable and stylish. Only regret is I didn't see soon enough to buy other colours.

Bought in Cadet blue, and its a fabulous colour, been well complimented about it. Would say it's a true 10 which is fine, has a wee bit of room underneath but as I've worm it both over a dress and with jeans and jumper it's fine. Can see me getting lots of use out of this. Love the lining too!

Over the past few years, i have watched the price of Boden clothing sky-rocket and the quality and detail (for which they were worth paying inflated prices for) decrease considerably. I now rarely buy anything at full price and often miss out on things because they're snapped up quickly in the sales.
I was keen to get my hands on this coat, however, and was pleased when it was still around by the time I managed to get on the computer when the sale started.
I am exactly 5 feet tall and am so pleased that a Petite Range is now an option, albeit in a limited number of items.
I bought this coat in size 12 Petite, grey leopard print.
It is lovely to look at and looks fantastic with jeans and boots. But I'm most impressed with the fit. Hurray! The sleeves end at my wrists. The waist sits on my waist and not halfway down my bottom. The mid-waist button at the front does up and doesn't pucker or have excess fabric flopping over the top. It doesn't gape at the chest. I have chosen not to buy anything in Petite Range before due to many reviews about the sizing being off; comments about having to size up because the entire product is smaller, not just the length. As I'm in Australia, it's just too expensive to send stuff back if it's not the right fit so I only buy things I know will work on me or that I am willing to have altered. This coat is really divine and I feel like a winner having got it on sale and the fantastic fit is the icing on the cake.

Goodness knows I wanted to like this coat. Though I dress the children from head to toe in Boden, this season is my first foray into women's wear and the results are certainly mixed. The sizing is just a puzzling as children's wear: reading buyer reviews is essential to success. At the sale price I wanted this bargain coat to be as perfect as some reviewers descibed. However, I found the print more 'camouflage' and 'animal'. I am a size 10-12 and purchased the size 12 as I like to wear a jersey underneath. Sadlt, the shoulders were narrow and the body baggy and shapeless on my slender frame. Worst of all, the lining is cotton so clung to my jersey and leggings. Sorry I tried, but it is sadly going back.

Bought this in the sale and so happy with the quality. It looks very chic and looks very expensive, also keeps me very warm. Why this one was in the sale I will never know but I am a happy bunny another fab purchase from Boden..Happy go lucky me!!

Really loved this velvet coat, very good fit, size 10 (I usually am 10/12) wanted it to be fitted and it is. Can be worn with jeans and evening shoes, dress up with sparkly scarve and heels or down with wool scarve and daps. Really love this coat.

This lovely coat was warmer and heavier than I expected - a big plus for a winter season garment.
I would wear this with jeans, dressed up or for a night out.
I am a Boden 8 - 10 and the 10 is a great fit and will take a cardigan underneath (although not a thick jumper - but then you wouldn't really need one quite so badly with this coat.)
Sadly I must return as the Heather colour is not as shown in the photo, hence only 4 stars. It's much darker than the photograph on the model and I already have a Boden coat from last season in a dark taupe which is very similar in tone. I was hoping for a much lighter lilac-y colour so sadly must return.
P.S(I am beginning to understand about photographic lighting - it is necessary but does leach colour)

I knew I would either love this or hate it. I had seen it full price and thought it would be a great bargain in the sale. The size was perfect - I am between 12/14 and I bought the 12 which I was able to fasten easily. Sleeve and coat length were perfect for me (5'8"). However the design - brown leopard - was just not for me - my daughter mentioned the dreaded "camouflage" and that just did it for me. Shame as velvet material lovely.

I bought this is brown leopard and I just love it. Fits perfectly , looks smart , looks unusual !! I had thought about getting the petite size but regular is just at knee so perfect length.
