Ordered this to go with a green tweed jacket and wanted something a little bit more different. Its great! I haven't found the length of the handles an issue but haven't tried it with a winter coat. My biggest issue has been keeping it.....three friends have already tried to persuade me it needs a new home and have ended up ordering one....
At sale price it's great value and good quality. Very pleased thank you Boden.

Get one of these babies while they are available. I have the grey one and people come up to me in the street to stroke it. Now that's a bonus right there. I'm so over "it" bags when you can get great design and good value like this. One wee small nit pick - the orange lining (which I love) isn't easy to keep clean if you're a messy cow like me. WIthin two weeks I had biro and bits of melted chocolate all over it - but that's just me

I thought long and hard about buying this in the sales after reading all the reviews. So glad I managed to get this in the charcoal leopard. Great size, perfect in fact. It is definately a 'handbag', to improve on perfection boden should of included a detactable shoulder strap.I will be using my bag for daytime smart casual, this would also make a good size in flight handbag sizewise.[pop a handbag organiser inside]. Hope this gives someone else an idea of size.

[...] I was really looking forward to the tan bag arriving. However,on opening it I found I really wasn't sure! I agree with other reviewers that the handles are not quite long enough to wear comfortably over the shoulder with a coat on, which I think is diappointing given the overall size of the actual bag. Having said that I disagree with the negative comments re the quality as I think both the design and the quality of the bag are good. I am normally very clear about what I like/dislike but on this one I couldn't quite make up my mind so I decided to ask my hubby, 2 sons (16&18)and my daughter (14). Unfortunatley, this got a split decision with 2 liking it and 2 (sons) hating it! Given my indecisiveness and the differnence of opinion I am moving towards returning this as (even with a discount) at over £100 I feel I need to really love it to justify the spend.

just received the olive green yesterday having bought it in the clearance. It's gorgeous. Arrived at work and all the girls in the office were admiring it straight away. Suspect over time the pony skin might wear but that is true of every item one might buy made of hide. Only complaint is it could have done with a few more inside pockets but again, that is true of virtually every bag I own!

One of the nicest bags I have ever had. This is Boden at it's very best.I have to admit I hesitated on buying this bag after reading some of the reviews, but this bag is definately a keeper.

This bag was a birthday present and I loved it.

I checked out some of the reviews and I disagree that the bag looks cheap. It is beautiful! I do agree that it would be hard to put over a shoulder if wearing a bulky jumper or coat but I can forgive that.

The bag could do with another compartment, but having said that, the bag is called a tote bag which does imply to me at least that it basically consists of one large roomy compartment.

Love the blue interior too!

Had my eye on this since beginning of season & finally gave in last week. Very glad I did; it's just what I wanted, a reasonably smart everyday bag with some style. Initially I thought it was expensive but having spent the past few months looking in the shops I've come to the conclusion it's pretty good value! This bag will get plenty of use as it will take me everywhere, on any occasion.
Only complaint was having to choose a colour; love the tan, as most natural, olive also very smart, but bought grey as will go with most things in my wardrobe.

So many people have stopped me and asked where I have got this bag from - I love it! Worth every penny! Looks great / feels great!
