I am sorry to spoil the other positive reviews but this shirt was so shockingly wide for my tall (nearly 2m) and relatively slim husband (i.e., slim but not skinny). We anxiously and excitedly opened the parcel when it arrived as it was our first Boden men order and like other husbands (!) he does not buy clothes that often due to lack of interest (sorry!) and pickyness. There was just so much fabric as we opened the shirt and there was no need to try it on. It was just way too wide. Please let us know Boden if you ever start a"superslim" fit range as we might give it a go [...]

Great shirt, we have been buying lots of this style over the past few years. The blue floral is a great fabric, cut and fit, and looks fab on. We were surprised to see a very bold orange contrast stitching around the bottom hem, which stands out strongly against the deep blue fabric. Reviewing the website today, it is not shown in any of the photos, nor mentioned in the product details. Neither my man or I are very convinced by the orange line around the bottom, both feel the shirt would be 5 stars without it. We would have preferred to know about it when ordering. However, the otherwise total fabness of this shirt means it's a keeper. Note to Johnny: please make sure such bold elements are visible in the catalogue!

My husband came home from work and said he has had seven nice comments about this terrific shirt today. It really is like it looks in the catalogue. Excellent quality, washes well, and a nice contrast seam on the bottom. Only caveat I would put on this is my husband is very tall - 6ft6 so if you were average the fit might be a bit long. But it fits him perfectly.

This shirt is fab - fit is spot on(xxl) for my tall 6'4" husband; he had been looking for a flowery shirt for ages and this just fits the bill. He put it on with the indigo knitted slipover as soon as it arrived and just went to work in it!!

ANYTHING that my husband decides to keep automatically deserves 5 stars because he is the fussiest dresser known to woman! Not that there is any rhyme or reason to his fussiness; he just takes instant dislikes (or likes) to something and that is it. Most of the things that I get for him to try don't even get out of the bag, but this was straight out, straight on and straight down the pub!! Lovely soft, comfy cotton and nice contrast around the inside of the collar, cuffs and yoke. He has the check one (doesn't do flowers!!) and colours as depicted. Didn't need ironing before it was worn either, so bonus points from me!
