I am writing this for my very particular teenage son. He loves them and looks gorgeous (though often finds it hard to find things he likes) I bought two colours - grey and navy - for him to choose and we kept both as I was feeling generous:-)Like the wool blend which makes it lovely and warm.

My partner loves this jumper. Unfortunately for him s do I so I imagine I will be wearing it too! It's a great rich navy, a lovely knit with some more interesting detail than the usual plain knit. Not too thick (which I purposefully went for having seen a previous review stating this). Can't comment yet on the durability or how well it washes but so far he (and I!) love it.

Very lightweight knit and not what I was expecting from a sweater named 'fishermen's' and so returned. Nice design but possibly a bit 'young'/trendy with the contrasting knit design on pocket and red flashes etc (I ordered the navy version) for my conservative, middle-aged husband, too.

This is a brilliant sweater which makes the dog walks a stylish occasion.
Great with jeans and good boots and a warm coat. A Boden scarf makes it even more special.
Handy and stylish pocket . This sweater would suit all ages and My husband loves his as does my son......that is quite a feat.

Bought this jumper for my husband, he likes it very much. Not too thick so could wear over shirt if desired. Nice wardrobe stable for winter.

gift for student son, very style conscious to wear all the time - but not clubbing.
I like the orange detail on pocket and inside neck
Jumper isn't too baggy and a good length and the black and grey wool looks stylish and interesting.
Downside is it feels thinner and lighter than I expected with not a very high percentage of wool so won't be as warm as hoped, though looks good!

I love 'classics' such as Guernseys but they can be a little unforgiving and, rather like a poorly trained dog, you are left feeling they're in control. This modern twist feels good to wear and is much better behaved! Smart enough for a dinner party or casual enough for a hike with that badly behaved mut. Nice one Johnnie!

As my husband is slim and long bodied, I was pleased with the fit. Bought large as he wanted to wear it over shirts etc. Good purcase in all respects and glad I got it on 15% as it becomes the sort of price I want to pay.

Purchased the salt and pepper and also the grey versions of this jumper. Very pleased with the fit of them and overall style. Often jumpers seem to be bellowing and loose in certain areas with excess material, but this was a nice snug fit all the way down. At first they did feel a little itchy, but having worn them in a few times it seems to have stopped, or my skin has accommodated to the feel. Have not tried washing yet but don't think they need to be washed that often. Only disappointment was that I purchased for full price and then a few days later they were reduced, meaning I could have saved £30!

Beautifully bright jumper. Love the contrasting textures of the knit. My husband loves it - and he's pretty hard to please clothes-wise sometimes. Hasn't been washed yet, but hope it will stay as lovely as it is now.
