These are beautiful but sadly my slim but not very slim daughter found them tight around the waist. I know she won't wear them so I'll return them. But don't take this as a criticism, Boden. I know lots of people who would despair if you didn't make clothes for skinny kids, including me, as my younger daughter is a real skinny minnie. Just a note to potential bargain hunters about the fit.

I love the look of these crops, but very disappointed that they are unsuitable for my daughter and need sending back.
HAving read the reviews, I sized up for my 3 year old daughter, ordering age 4 for her. Unfortunately the waistband is still very snug around her little tummy. She isn't overweight and is just a normal 3 year old, and I'd venture that many girls of this age are still perhaps a little bit chubby around their middles. Why doesn't Boden account for this with a real adjustable waist, rather than what is offered: a very small waist that can only be made smaller.

Bought the pink bubblegum tye dye in age 7 for my tall slim 6 1/2 year old daughter. What can i say except PERFECT!They tick all the boxes for us! perfect fit for a tall slim little girl with an adjudtable waist which is a must for that perfect fit. Gorgeous shade of pink, bright but not to vibrant, fantastic tye dye effect & good quality material.Perfect length as well, just slighlty below the knee. Will be buying the other 2 colours as we love tye dye, & these really are fab. Would not recomend if you daughter is not on the slim side. Well done boden! daughter even wanted to wear them staight away. well worth every penny. Would love to see some tye dye shorts & t-shirts , maybe even for the boys as well!!!!!!

Great fit (with the waist slightly adjusted)on my tall skinny 7 year old. Fab for the sea side, the tie dye and pastel ice cream colours remind me of those marled sandcastle buckets. Really cute.

I wanted to order these in the yellow for my tall 5½ year old daughter however, she wanted the pink colour. They arrived and are true to picture, love the colour as a bit different no her other boden trousers. I sized up to 6yrs and the fit is good. Like all clothes i buy for my daughter i have to adjust waist and add belt but length wise perfect and hopefully she will get to wear them next year.
Would recommend these as great summer staple. Only lost a point on price as quite expensive.
