We love leggings, as my daughter has long legs they are perfect for us. Sadly thought the fabric is too thin and after 3 wearings they had a few small holes appear. We wash at 30 and line dry them.
Overall ok, would only use them for smart rather than every day for an active daughter.

These are lovely and very well made. I bought the stripe pair and they go with a lot of my daughters current Boden wardrobe. I bought 2-3 for an average sized 2.5 year old and they are a perfect fit with some growing room. No sizing problems at all. Perhaps the latest batch have been improved given previous comments??

Okay buyers, I read the reviews and took a risk as the little lady needed more leggings and I rely on Bodens quality. My daughter is average height, weight etc, 2.5 so I bought 2-3. Result? Perfect! They are fabulously soft and I am really pleased with them. Is she? Well she should be!
I have only washed both pairs once but so far - no issues! Well done Boden again!

Lovely fabric and great colours, but the waist is indeed too large and is getting worse with every wash... not sure we'll get much more wear out of them unless i alter them a bit... a great shame, as we love them and have 4 pairs!

Bought the aed 3-4 purple and blue stripes for my just-3 daughter. She is ever so slightly taller for her age and the waist fits perfect, so I don't know why other people found the waists too big. I would think she will wear these all winter and into next spring. I find some supermarket leggings shrink or discolour, but these have washed perfectly, and colour and material remains 'as-new'. They also team up fab with the polo shirts and purple everyday cardi and purple fitted t-shirts. Just wish they came in more darker pinks, plums, reds, etc. Other patterns (what about autumn floral?) would have been nice. I chose these colours as they were the brightest ones. Didn't want charcoal or the other colours etc for my 3 year old.

These leggings are lovely and soft, but still quite thick and quality material. The colours are lovely and complement lots of the t-shirts in the girls' range.
The only downside is that the waistband is much too large. I will probably have to take it in. As it is, they only really stay up as my daughter is still in nappies.
I kept them because they look great and the fabric quality is excellent.

The waistband on these leggings is huge. I bought 4 pairs for my 3 yr old. I washed them when they arrived (my fault... But you don't expect to go wrong with leggings!)... Put them on this morning and I reckon she will be at least 5 before her waist is that big (she's an average build)!

Bought age 2-3 for my 2.5yr old. As with last seasons leggings the waist band is a little loose but they fit well on the leg and do stay up! Fabric is thick, soft and cosy.
