Good quality and probably hard wearing. Lovely pattern and my daughter loved them. However, they are far too wide at the hips and waist. Length was perfect, but could have put my daughter in one leg hole and a friend in the other! My daughter is very skinny - these must be more suitable for a sturdier child.

Got the purple flower power pair for my skinny but average height 4 year old, and as expected the 5years (4-5) is big round the waist but fit ok when tied tightly, length is good and unless she has a large growth spurt I expect if quality is as good as it looks she will get at least a years wear out of these. These are beautiful trousers and I am very pleased with this purchase.

My 6 yr old loves these trousers and wants to wear them all the time!
She has the pink apple ones and the navy apple hoody and this is her favourite outfit .
My daughter is medium build and I bought age 7, length perfect ( will last autumn, winter and spring). I did not size up to get another year, because the waist would be too big)
Good value , as a favourite with my daughter and I will look out for these next year

Hmm, not too sure about this product's quality. Because I'm not big around the waist so I tied it, but every time I went the loo they wouldn't come off! Maybe in future, you should have a button band waist or an elasticated string instead. But anyway, it's nice and comfy so, cool!

I love the apples design, really colourful but oddly easy to put with other things. My only gripe is that size 3 is barely long enough for my almost 3 year-old. The waist is plenty large enough (size 4 would be far too big) and they would last 2 seasons if just a bit longer. A pity because I am sure that those shorter children wouldn't mind a bit of extra length at the bottom.

Great quality trousers for my 2 year old. Very soft cord with fun pattern and exciting colours (purple flowers). A bit long for her and a bit big round the waist but not so much that they slip down - but as expected as she is a small/average sized 2 yr old (ordered the age 2). Will definitely last her through well into next year. Have so far washed really nicely. Very happy!

At last a pair of trousers which sit on her waist. I have an extremely tall well built 6 year old who when trousers are long enough can't get the waist to meet around her. These are perfect elasticated waist with drawstring to pull in to keep up - no more "builders bottom". I bought the size 9 in apple design and purple flower. I must say the latter are slightly more generous than the apple but still fit beautifully with room to grow. A little too long but a slight roll up or chunky heeled boot will solve that problem. Thank you more please in future seasons.

My daughter loves these trousers. she is a petite 9 year old, but I had to order age 8, as the age 9s were enormous round her waist. Even the age 8 trousers are big around the waist, and she has to pull them tight with the drawstring. The length is slightly too short because of having to order a size down, but she refuses to let me send them back! They are beautiful, and excellent quality. I do wonder why trousers with an elasticated waist have to be so wide round the waist?! The models in tha catalogue never look large, so I'm always surprised when the clothes (skirts and tousers) are so roomy. Tops always fit well.

I bought 2 pairs of these in the floral and apple prints in age 6 hoping they would suit my not fat but well built and tall nearly 5 year old. Trousers can be hit and miss and she hates anything tight around her waist so I held my breath! She hasn't even tried these on yet but as soon as I saw them I knew they would be a perfect fit. The waist looks very comfy, the length is about right for her, and the stretch cord is a real bonus as they should be really easy to wear as well. They are so pretty too...I'm trying not to look at the others available!
