My daughter had these this season and she loved them, but.......... there is a whole in the knee. Happened after just a few times wearing them. Material much too tin. So disappointed because she doesn't want to bin them and I don't want her to walk around with a whole in her knee.

I bought the denim version in size 9 for my almost 8 year old and they are a perfect fit. She is slightly taller than average and slim and they look lovely on!
I had ordered (and returned) the size 10 as they were HUGE! I think she will get a lot of wear out of these and the fabric is a lovely quality.

I bought the brown cord version for my extremely tall 5 year old daughter as I had bought the purple ones for my eldest last year and I was really disappointed when they arrived this evening as the fabric is much flimsier than last years and the fit was terrible! Although they were the right length they were very slim around the thighs and waist and sitting would definitely be a problem!
Shame as I was really looking forward to teaming them with the gorgeous stiped aplique t-shirt I bought last week!

I bought these trousers for my tall 11-year old. I had to buy the 14 size, [...] To my surprise, I found that it was her size! She is slim so I have to use the buttons for the waist, but the upper legs are tight-fitting and the length is OK. This means that unless you have a skinny girl, it is better to go up one size or two.On the other hand, the aqua color is lovely, and the feel very nice.I would really appreciate that bootlegs and flare pants were a bit more generous for big-boned or plump girls.

My daughter loves her new aqua cord bootleg trousers which she determinedly chose herself on-line. She is 4.5 yrs old and 110cm tall. We got the size 5 which is perfect, with a cm or two of growing room. The cord is soft, more like fine needlecord, and the trousers are very comfortable. The aqua colour is fresh and works with many other colours. I like the flowery trim on the pockets and belt loops. These details make the trousers special.
I would like similar cord (or velvet) trousers in green, like the thyme colour from 2010, or in a mustard yellow.

I bought age 8 in the beautiful aqua shade for my 7 year old daughter, they fit her perfectly and the fabric is lovely - very very fine cord, almost velvet. She is slim and we love products with adjustable waists which brings me to the only negative; please could Boden anchor the elastic for the waist adjusters so it loops and if it comes undone, it doesn't disappear into the waistband. It would also mean there isn't 8-10cm of excess elastic hanging around the waist.

Bought size 8 for my nearly 7 year old tall very skinny daughter. With adjustable waistband, waist was OK and length good (rare for us). Beautiful warm purple colour. But... she wore them at the weekend for the first time, fell over in them (not badly) and there is now a huge tear at the knee. Really disappointing, because the colour and fit are good. Would recommend, but with warning.
