my daughter has two pairs of these now. She 7 1/2 slim and the age 7 fits her perfectly. I do find they get a bit bigger when worn, then shrink again when washed, but this isn't a problem with the adjustable waist. We have the purple and dove flower ones. She loves them both and the purple colour hasn't faded at all through washing. Really pleased, will buy these again next winter. Good value and quality.

These are divine corded jeans. I've searched high and low for a pair to fit my extremely tall and skinny 7 year old. The 9 year old jeans fit her perfectly in the legs, with the waist gathered in 5 buttonholes on each side. They've gathered well, so they don't look bunched up. I always have to take in trouser for her, so she's used to it and I will probably remove the buttons and stitch the elastic so they're super comfortable for her. The main thing is that they fit her bottom, hips and legs, which [...] and most other brands fail to do as they're simply too big. I would definitely not recommend these for girls on the larger side. We got the dusty purple, pumpkin and dove bouquet earlier in the season so we really didn't need a french blue bouquet pair too. Couldn't help it. Caved in! The colours are beautiful. Slight niggle is that with slim fit I need to size up and shorten them due to a hollow back and pot belly (other brands too, not just Boden) but the colours and designs make it worth it!

Something to look into for the future is that a couple of other brands do full, regular & slim fit in their basic jeans & cords. I and a few other mums I know really benefit from this when buying slim/skinnies. I don't know how feasible this would be but it would definately get a 5* from me.

Bought the "dove bouquet" in age 9, for my tall 7 year old daughter. It is the first time I have bought skinny jeans for her. The colour is lovely, very pretty, the material is vey soft. The length is good, (may just get next winter out of them, as they are a little long in the leg) But not as skinny as I would have liked. My daughter is slim, with very long legs. They could have fit better around the waist, & bum etc. They did seem a bit too big in that area. had to pull in the waist a lot. Also not that skinny in the leg. Will wash them & just see if they shrink a little bit. Did not want to send them back. Love Mini Boden clothes for my children.

Fantastic skinny cords for my skinny little girl. Adjustable waist is not bulky so pulls in nicely. As she is short for a 3year old (92cm) we do have to turn the bottoms up a bit but that's ok. She loves orange and chose these herslef online and we're both really pleased with them. They've already been worn and washed loads and still look like new. Thank you Boden :-)

My daughter was delighted with the colour (dusky pink)and feel of these cords. They fit perfectly around the waist and bottom, which is unusual for my skinny girl, but they were short in the leg, again unusual as she is not particularly tall for her age, so we have returned them in exchange for a 9 year old's pair. I just hope they will not be too big around the waist now as she loves them and can't wait for them to arrive again!

Chose the dusky pink colour, I chose this as a review mentioned that the pink is more mink, ordered them because of the comment..how true a mink that is not too pink!! Lovely colour that is very neutral so pleased with these cords. Nice stretch to the jeans perfect for little active girls. Ordered a age 6 for my very slim daughter, in fairness she is smaller than average, perfect length, good tight fit, hip area was a little large as was the waist, pulled in the waist so all fine. Another fab Boden item, delighted with the product [...]. Thank you again.

I am a skinny adult size 6- 8 with particular small hips and short upper body. Since Boden stopped their low rise trousers, they lost me as a customer for trousers as the rise in all their current styles is to high for my body shape. :(
When I came across these purple cords, I fall in love with the colour and even so I was not convinced that these children cords would fit me, thought I give them a go.
And surprise, surprise they the best fitting skinny cords ever. The colour is so beautiful, the cord is awesome, the cut is perfect and I love the adjustable waistband : ). Finally a pair of trousers in a gorgeous colour which does fit me.
Highly recommended for skinny 's of all ages.

Like the heart patch trousers my seven year old is finding the waist much too small on the size 8yrs, She's not skinny but she's by no means larger than average. So I would say unless you have a tiny daughter size up!!!
I have ordered the nine and hope as they are skinny fit they won't be too long.
The fabric is very good quality and the design dove/flower is beautiful!!! Hope they fit!!!
