I have had 2 of these bikinis for my eldest daughter, in pink and then in blue. She is now 6.5 years. Normally I hate bikinis on children but I make an exception for this it is age appropriate, not skimpy at all and just so cute. The frills are gorgeous and the shape lovely and comfortable although I agree that it comes up quite big and most people will have to size down (my daughter wears a size 5-6 whereas normally I would buy her 7-8). I do agree its not the most hard wearing and not great for frequent wear and washing. I found the elastic went in the bottoms of the first pink pair and the colour faded when we took it on a long beach holiday. But this did not put me off it. I still think its gorgeous enough that I bought the blue this year. So far the colour has stayed true so am hoping for another summer's wear out of it. Great product.

I'd been looking for a bikini in this style for my daughter for ages, as I find a lot of the high street bikini's are too skimpy and grown up for a little girl. This is great quality and looks super-cute on.

Needed a bikini for my 2+yr old daughter who unfortunatley has dislocated her elbow and we realised that with her arm in a sling we weren't going to get a swimming costume over the sling! Got this in the blue spot in the sale, lovely colour although I wasn't expecting the thick material so think it will take awhile to dry out. Good buy for our holiday.

Absolutely gorgeous and has a lovely vintage style. Got this in the blue. Size 4-5 for my tall slim nearly 5 year old. Perfect fit. Wore everyday swimming on holiday for a week in pool and sea and still looks like new (i.e no fade what so ever).

I bought this bikini for my 4 year old who has worn it a maximum of 20 times. After the third wash on 30 degrees, the colour faded hugely and the lovely ruffling at the top curled in on itself (therefore you need to iron it if you want it to look good). I don't think the quality is good enough for frequent use/washing.

My 9-year old wants to wear bikinis but I find some of the skimpy high street styles too old for her. This is a perfect combination of stylish and girlie to please us both. Lovely. 9-10 fits my tall 9 year old really well.

It fits perfect for my 9 year old. She is quite tall so I brought the 11-12 year size. It was beautiful on her and she likes it very much.

This bikini is just lovely, we have the yellow in a 9-10 for our 7yr old. The fit is good, very slightly big but I think a 7-8 would have been too small.

This is the loveliest bikini! I bought it in the blue which is quite a deep colour but looks totally gorgeous on my fair haired 5 year old. She loves it too as it's so girly.

i bought this purley to induldge in cuteness and i am sure we won't stop singing itsy bitsy teeny weeny yellow polka dot bikini on holiday this year much to the annoyance of our daughter ,parents have to have fun too!!
