Have always bought these in the past but the 5-6 is now getting alittle short for my 6yr 118cm daughter. Could only originally get the willow spot colour in 7-8yrs, the length didn't seem to be much longer than her old skirt. The waist was bigger and but not quite so elasticated as her previous skirt. Anyway the main reason I sent it back was the colour, looked rather a sludgey colour & didn't suit her(& definitely wouldn't suit her blonde younger sister who will get it passed down to her!). Have just been able to re-order in the forget-me-not spot, so hoping for better luck!

My daughter will be 5 in March so I bought the 7-8 for longevity and 'tho it's long it looks OK; not oddly long or a trip hazard. Waist has only light elastication so she needs to tie a bow too or it falls down; a bit of a faff but it will help her to tie laces earlier. Lovely 'Willow' colour can be olive or soft brown depending upon what you put with it. Either way it's a delightfully girly skirt without being the dreaded pink. My only concern is that the spots are printed on so I don't know how durable they'll be; guess they'll wear off eventually. That's why I added 'durable?' to the 'cons' tick list above except that the question mark hasn't appeared.

A firm favourite! Bought the green spotty one in size 4-5 for my just turned 4 year old daughter its longer than i thought but my daughter loves it that way even more twirl when she is dancing around the room in it.

My two year old absolutely love this skirt. She is a truly girly girl and this absolutely suits her taste. Very good fine cord material which dosn't need ironing after washing and the adjustable elastics around the waist is a plus for my skinny girl. This should last her till she's about 3 plus.

Its true the swishy skirt is fantastic. Lovely colours and easy to get tops to match. Have purchased again in a different colour. Perfect skirt if you daughter is not one of the many skinny minnies catered for at Boden!

My 7yr old loves wearing this skirt, it twirls perfectly. The fabric is soft and warm, the fit is comfortable round the waist and it washes very well.

I have been deliberating over this skirt since the first time I saw it, after a bit of disaster with the sizing of the big button skirt I apprehensively went for this one.
So glad I did as it is so lovely & true to size my daughter is seven and a half and the 7-8 comes to mid calf. Very pleased daughter can't stop spinning around!!!

Daughter is a skinny, average height 2 1/2 year old - we just about get away with the 3-4 size as it has a tie waist. It's pretty long on her - but we're determined to get the most wear out of each item.
Love the fact that it's not a mini skirt. Chose the blue which is a lovely colour. Daughter likes twirling around in it, girly enough for her that she doesn't notice the lack of a girly colour. Plain fabric is great as good for mixing with many different tops and tights.
