A beautiful party dress although I bought a size up, don't know if it will last until a party as she wore it non-stop for 3 days she loved it so much.I got rid of dirty marks with a baby wipe. Hope it washes as well.

Bought this for my 9yo daughter as a 'special' party dress and although she's not had an occasion to wear it to yet, that hasn't stopped her from putting it on and dancing around the house!
The soft silver-grey colour is lovely and perfectly accented by the jewelled 'bling' detail around the neck....and it goes beautifully with her silver Boden ballet flats.
My daughter is a tall 9yo so we went up a size which works well for autumn/winter with a t-shirt underneath, and will be the perfect size come spring/summer.
Very pleased with the handle of the fabric and the quality of the garment construction, and to date it has washed well.

Great party dress for my 8 1/2 year old daughter. We bought size 11-12 as my daughter is tall and although the 9-10 fitted her the bigger size was a better length. She really loves this dress and says that it makes her feel very grown up! Well done Boden for still dressing girls like young girls rather than teenagers.

We chose this dress because it can be worn on so many occasions. It is quite dressy, but not so delicate that it can't be worn for running around, and it is comfortable and relaxed in style. It fits really well, and is not too loose under the arms like some styles tend to be on skinny little girls. I bought age 5-6 for a smallish 6 year old. The fabric is very creased when taken out of the bag, but I am sure it will be fine after a quick (but cool) iron. This will see us through the Christmas party season and into spring I am sure.

Ordered the navy colourway in size 7/8 for my nearly 7 year old. The beading looks absolutely beautiful against the navy background and is very eye-catching. It is a little long at the moment but don't think the size 5/6 would fit. An absolutely gorgeous dress that looks great on.
