bought is blue, very pretty colour. nice fabric too, quite think which comes handy in cold weather. Had to size up, comes very small comparing to other boden dresses bought this autumn.

This is lovely, really lovely! Bought for my teeny weeny 3 year old (but in age 4-5 and good thing too, I think sizing up is necessary here). Even opening the package caused excitement because she had chosen it from the website herself. The blue is heavenly and the cord is so so soft (she is a demanding thing and will only wear clothes that feel 'silky') and this is perfect for her and what she likes. I like it because it reminds me of my 70s childhood clothes and it's just too pretty for words. Brilliant buy!

I bought this is pink for my tall 4 1/2 year old in size 5-6. Is a bid generous overall but just comes up very short. She is tall but not that tall. Double checked that this is definitely a dress and not a top. I have bought her others dresses from Boden in 5-6 this season and they all fitted well with plenty of room to grow into. So I just have to assume that this dress is meant to be worn short. She wore it today with the star tights and it does look lovely on. I just hope she doesn't have a growth spurt and it will last her till spring. Beautiful material and overall look.

Ordered this after reading the great reviews & am so glad I did! It is gorgeous! The fushia is a fantastic bright colour & the design is simple but stunning. The fabric is super soft & my daughter loves it.
The only thing I would say is I think it runs slightly small as the age 3-4 fits my daughter well but all her other Boden dresses are age 2-3. I will probably order the 4-5 to compare as I would like to get a little more growing time!My only concern with sizing up is it may be too wide round the neck.

Love the dress but for some reason I really thought the dress I ordered was red on the website, it does say fucshia but I just look at pictures apparently so note. this is a very very bright fucshia much brighter than pictured but still a beautiful dress too beautiful to send back so we'll just add it to the rest of our Fucshia dresses from this year.

This dress is gorgeous, I love Boden cord as it is always so soft and it is well lined so feels quite thick. The colour of the Fushia is a vibrant pink not as red as it looks on the website. The style is a classic which will look lovely layered and dressed up or down. We ordered 4-5 and 5-6 for my average-small just 4 yr old and the 5-6 is perfect now, just below the knee so I would recommend sizing up as i don't think we'll get two years from it and the 4-5 was too tight around the chest.
My only concern as a previous reviwer mentioned is it does crease very easily (unusual for Boden cord dresses) hence only 4 stars.
Please also bring back the jersey and cord everyday winter dresses which we bought 2 yrs ago and haven't been made since they were fantastic...

Recieved this for my seven and a half year old today and it's fantastic!! After reading other reviews sized up to 9-10yrs and glad I did as I will now get two years out of it. I went for the french blue which is slightly more faded than in the picture but I quite like it, goes well with the pop flower tights:))

I bought this in the blue for my 3 year old. She is pretty tall and the 3-4 is going to be a bit shorter on her than is totally ideal but I find this is pretty common with Boden dresses. The colour was lovely, the quality good and this is a really pretty dress that will be easy to layer up. I am happy with this on the whole...but Boden can you just add a little extra length to your dresses??!

This is a lovely dress which will be great to wear in the autumn and winter. My daughter LOVES pink and this dress is such a vibrant colour, it really stands out. I ordered age 4-5 for my tall 3 year old and it is just right length wise with a bit of growing room, the age 3-4 would definitely have been too short. I am sure she will live in this over the colder months as it will layer really well with lots of different tops. All in all am very pleased with the purchase.
