I do agree the shape of this dress is wide and wasn't too sure to begin with. However my daughter loves it! She is a tall newly 8 yr old and I bought the 9-10. Its a bit billowy but we are going on hols in July and it will be hot so she can swish about in it. The dress looks lovely we've gone for the coral colour and its a proper girls dress and covers the shoulders!

We were so excited about getting this dress for my daughters 9th birthday. She is quite tall and medium/slim build. The dress (9 -10) was too wide (by about 5 inches) and way too short-if it had a better shape we could have used it as a top.
A bit disappointed after recieving a perfect adult maxi dress!

Pretty dress, very girly, stylish but not too complicated. Bought the pink and the colour is so soft. I am not so sure about the material, its very thin, which is good i suppose because it adds to the siplicity of the dress, just hope it doesnt look too cheap after washing especially that its not at all cheap.

My daughter is an average three and a half year old and this dress is the perfect fit. She like most little girls loves sparkle so while I love the simplicity of this gorgeous little dress the little beads are a subtle and effective touch which she approves of. Its perfect for smart casual outings - parties etc. The only slight drawback is that the fabric is very easily creased so perhaps not ideal for a childs garment. Would still recommend though.

My tall blonde fair skinned daughter wanted this dress ,I thought the pale pink would be too pale for her but sent for it nevertheless and it is much more flattering than I thought. Really lovely floaty feel. Whilst it was too big across the chest for my daughter it doesn't look like it is when worn so good investment piece
