My daughter absolutely loved these and was dying to start wearing them but on taking off the mittens each time, the lining came out of the glove and the thumb piece of the lining was impossible for her to reposition. Also the stitching at the base of the thumbs was very loose and looked as if it was about to go into holes! For this price, the quality of the finish is poor.

I had looked longingly at this set for a while, until a special offer came up. I have to say they are really much nicer then they look and they look lovely in the photos. I bought the rabbit for the practical colour but I was a bit worried about the long ears. I needn't have worried the ears on the gloves are sewn down, so do not get in the way and the ears on the hat are just right. The one thing I hate about winter is having to force hats onto my children. It will not be trial this year because as soon as it came out of the bag my daughter said "you got it for me mummy thank you" then put it on and wore them around the house!

I highly recommend it to every little girl. I bought the cat and the mouse ( I think it rather looks like a rabbit, which mouse has sooooo long ears??) motifs for my almost three year old twins. The material is thick and I like the lining inside. Perfect purchase for wintertime.
Sizewise: I think this set is on the small side. Ok, for us it is perfect but can be small for a 6yr old child.

The minute that I looked at the Autumn preview I noticed and loved this set but I really struggled to justify the price tag for a childrens hat and mittens set but I am so glad that I bought it.My almosr 7 yr old little girl looks so adorable in it(we have the mouse set)that I almost cried when I saw her wearing it,it is the epitome of childhood,and has the look of a Christmas gift hand knitted by a loving Granny.

I have the grey set for Holly, who is coming up to 5 years old, and the 2-6 years is just a tiny bit too small for winter, so have ordered next size up.
Great thick wool used, and it is lined too for added comfort.
It does look so cute on, and I can see this one come winter being sold out
