These shorts are great. Both my boys had them last year and I have bought another 2 pairs this year in the red check and the yellow/blue check. The way they are packaged is a bit weird but this does not deter from the shorts. They are pricey but worth every penny! Wash fab. I would recommend to go up a size as I feel they come up small.

Top quality that wash well and have note faded. The adjustable waist meant that I could size up to get 2 season out of them. My 7 year old loves them. I do agree that the presentaition of them is poor. They arrived rolled up and very creased. Come on Jonny get the iron out!!!

These shorts are perfect for my 10 year old. They look great on; spot-on length and shape, with plenty of stylish details- stitching, pockets etc. They have lived up to his outdoor lifestyle, surviving tree climbing, cycling and skate boarding! They wash really well and do not need ironing, as that's not the "look". However if you prefer a smarter, neater look the pockets can be shaped when wet. They look equally as good with tees and trainers as they do with shirts and loafers. I'm so pleased with them that I'm buying more, as clothes as good as this are hard to find!

Once again a fantastic little pair of shorts. Vibrant and fun, my nine year old loves them and they look great with the new red applique shark t-shirt. He's just turned nine so i ordered the age 9 and it's a great fit. Definately worth the money for shorts that stand out out from all the basics in the shops.

Ordered army & red pairs. Adorable & great, heavy quality but had to get an age 4 for my v tall but slimish 2yr old to have a hope of them fitting in the summer even if he is out if nappies by then.
Poor packaging which is unusual for Boden & a bit off putting given the price. Came rolled up with all the buttons undone & tied with a bit of cord!

Wow, we love these shorts! The red check match LOADS of t-shirts, and the attention to detail seems fab - e.g. lovely quality buttons, great pockets. Can not find a single fault with them! We sized up to 4y for my 2-&-3quarters-y-o son, and they are a bit like 3/4 trousers now but will last way past his August birthday and next summer too!

Dreadful quality - look nothing like the picture - inferior and expensive product - my son aged 10 refused to even try them on having loved them online. come on Boden ! Maybe the presentation has something to do with the way the were rolled up and had they been neatly pressed they would have looked better - life it too short to iron boys summer shorts !
