I bought these for my son, as the last pair he had were now too small. The last pair lasted his sister and him, so excellent quality. The only gripe I have are the drawstrings. There is no button to size the trousers anymore and drawstrings are not a good idea when you need a quick trip to the little boys' room and cannot tie them yourself yet. Please re-introduce the button/elastic sizing for the little sizes.

My son loves these trousers. The problem is that the length is right for him (size 9/10 - he's just turned 10), but they are large around the waist. He's quite slim, but not unusually so - these trousers are designed for well-padded children. There's a drawstring, but that's not terribly practical to do up and undo everytime you need to pee, even for a 10 year old, let alone a smaller child. Please put belt loops on all your trousers Boden!

Bought these way back in the preview but only got out for my son to wear today as he's been wearing his winter stuff til now. These are brilliant! I ordered age 6 for my nearly 5 yr old as he is tall and they fit well (just need one fold over at hem) hoping they will fit him next spring too. They look so cool on and the steel is such a great colour to go with anything. I wanted another pair in the sand but they've all gone! Please do these again Boden next year they are perfect!

Bought these in khaki for my skinny 6 year old and sized up following many of this years reviews. Glad I did. Was worried they'd be too baggy, but the drawstring allows him to adjust the waist, and providing he doesn't sprout too quickly they should last. Lovely hardwearing fabric, reinforced in all the right places for lively little (and big) boys. Great buy.

High quality cotton, so soft but still feels realy strong! My son is autistic and I find it really hard to get clothes that he accepts to wear - but these one he likes and I will probably get him another pair! The only thing I can suggest to make them better is to have them with an elestic waist since that is more manageble for boys....
