I bought these for my slim 4 year old son who needed some tight fitting shorts for swimming lessons. He chose the orange anchor ones (4-5) which fit snugly and look cool. The material is nice and thick and he loves them!

Bought the tomato feeding time trunks in a size 11-12 for my tall, big built 8 year old. There is a drawstring to bring the waist in a little and are very comfortable. The print is great fun and the colours were lovely but after one wash the blue has turned into a washed out purple. This doesnt bother my boy though - only me! They were bought for swimming lessons and the cut is perfect for that - just wish Boden could have used a more robust fabric/colour for the job!

Brought for my very tall and skinny 7yr old and are a perfect fit . Its great to have a good cord to tighten them up as we have difficulty finding clothes that fit . Great design and colour but as stated the darker panels do fade and this has happened over 2 washes although it does add to the charm . But I am hoping that they don't fade any more!

Sadly, these swim trunks take an age to dry after swimming and feel very heavy and soggy for quite a while. A shame as otherwise the fit is good and the fabric looks durable. Just not practical at all if your child actually wants to swim and then not feel heavy and wet when out of the water! Took this on a recent holiday and the swim trunks didn't even dry overnight even after having wrung them out repeatedly and hung on a balcony in a dry, sunny climate.

My grandson loves wearing these swim trunks whilst on holiday, but buy two pairs as they take a while to dry out and with the material being of good quality, when sand gets in they tend to chaff a little.

I have loved these swimming costumes for boys and have bought in previous years for my son. This year I have been very disappointed with the way the fabric stripe down the side has faded after only a few uses. I always wash it after each swim (to get rid of the chlorine) and the navy stripe down the side is now a washed out light purple, the printed shark fabric has kept it's colour. It looks old, cheap and shabby, and summer hasn't even started yet. Expect more from Boden.
