I purchased these for my son for a 4 week trip to South Africa. He wore them nearly every day whilst on the trip both in the sea and in chlorinated pools. I rinsed them after every wear and dried them inside (not in sunlight) however, they faded terribly and really are not as nice to look at now. The waist band is still a vibrant red and everything else is extremely faded. Boden have refunded this item -just wanted to warn anyone that would be using the shorts a lot to think twice!

These become shorts with a tea shirt or trunks without ! A great holiday item, easy to dry. Down side in the sizing is when the waist fits the legs are too long and when the lenght fits the waist is too small,

Good quality as you would expect from Boden. But after 1 week in the sun, sea & sand at half term, they are now looking very faded. If this is going to bother you, don't buy them. Also, see my review on pigment dyed T-shirts - the dye from the T-shirt has affected the colour of these after washing on our return from holidays. Not happy about that at all Boden!
