These shorts suffer from the expanding waistline issue that has plagued parts of the mini boden boys' collection in the last year or so. Too generous on the waist, but unlike my son's last pair (from 2 years ago), not long enough to allow sizing down. Despite this minor sizing niggle, these are comfortable shorts in good heavy fabric, and they will be worn a lot.
